Quote of the Day 2-19-10
There is one thing that does need to change. The issue of reproductive rights needs to… stop being viewed by male allies as simply a women’s issue.
Recently Hugh Ryan wrote an article on the Daily Beast about the problem with pro-choice men and the lack of local male voices for reproductive rights, while male voices can be found quite easily on the other side of the issue….
Reproductive rights are not simply a women’s issue. While male allies should acknowledge that the choice that surrounds abortion should be a woman’s choice that it is important that we trust women, we should not leave advocating for that choice to women alone.

Yes. Be strong and supportive when she goes in to kill your child. Cause you trust her. You might consider paying for it. Oh, don’t forget to give her a ride home.
Yes, Carla, that’s right.
And it’s only a “women’s issue” if you’re a PRO-LIFE male, I suppose.
In other words, men, you should only speak when the pro-choice women who have you by the ***** tell you you’re allowed.
Did Hugh mean to have men involved like: “Come in the clinic right now and stop talking to her (me) – or I’ll leave you here [after driving from a 2 hour distance].”
Or how about – “if you don’t get in there right now I will be sure to put you out on the street.”
Or how about when men report to us that: “I didn’t like her anyway.”
These are just 3 of the many true stories I have witnessed first-hand.
Women get enough of that now. They get pushed, dragged and abandoned into abortion. We don’t need anymore men using and abusing women.
Abortion just makes men feel justified in using women for sexual needs and leaving women to pick up the pieces.
We need real men to truly love, protect and honor women. No more use and abuse.
Abortion just makes men feel justified in using women for sexual needs and leaving women to pick up the pieces.

Bingo! And maybe that’s why you don’t find too many men willing to stand up on the PC side. Maybe they inherently know it’s not so great to “stand by” and support the killing of their own children.
The guys feel they did their part with Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton. The women plaintiffs in these cases regret the outcome of these cases. The justices? Washed their hands maybe?
Let me see if I understand this rambling.
Men are encouraged to advocate for a womans freedom to a ‘choice’ for dead baby, but men are disqualified from advocating for a woman’s ‘choice’ either for a ‘dead baby’ or for a ‘live baby’if they are the father of said baby.

More drivel, doublespeak and lies from the abortionists.
The anti-unborn human rights movement is the most intellectually dishonest movement in history and they seem always to be wanting to prove this again and again.
Their use of the doublespeak expression “reproductive” “rights” is completely absurd. Reproduction is not the issue. They are claiming a “right” to kill human beings who were reproduced weeks or months ago. It is not in any way about “reproduction” but about destruction of human beings already in existence.
If the abortionists had an ounce of integrity and honesty, they would argue in favor of abortion “rights”. Although such “rights” do not and cannot exist as a matter of logic, that at least would be an honest statement of their position.
You have to love an anti-life, anti-human male who, as a former unborn child, supports unlimited lethal violence against his fellow human beings who come after him, while prattling on about women’s “rights”, even though he cannot believe in women’s rights because, as an abortionist man, he would allow all women to be destroyed in the unborn stage and therefore be denied their most basic right, the right to life itself.
