Quote of the Day 4-20-10
![]()
The best part of having two babies at once, a son and a daughter, is mostly everything.
You’re just having that feeling of love inside you all the time and motherhood is such a fulfilling place to be. I kind of wish it would have happened to me earlier in my life….
I know now that there are more important things in life than acting and singing. Becoming a parent and having children does that, it really puts things in perspective for you.
I love what I do, and I’ll always continue to do it. Actually, because of the babies, I just feel like it’s a new beginning, like it’s the start of something.
~Actress and recording artist Jennifer Lopez, as quoted in pbpulse, April 19

I know how she feels. God has taught me many things through my children, things I could never have understood without them. Whenever I hold a newborn in my arms, the love I feel is so overwhelming and so pure.
Soon after the birth of our 3rd child, our 2nd little girl, I was holding her and thinking, “I love this child even though I have to feed her, bathe her, care for her in every way possible…there is nothing she does for me, she can’t pay me back, she can’t do anything to earn my love, she does nothing to deserve my love…I love her because she EXISTS!”
At that moment, God spoke to my spirit and said, “This is the way I love you. Not because you do enough, or behave well enough, or pray enough…I love you because you exist, because you are MINE!”
That was a freeing moment for me, to learn to enjoy God’s love without strings attached. Motherhood has made all the difference in my life. God forbid the kind of person I would be without it.
“At that moment, God spoke to my spirit and said, “This is the way I love you. Not because you do enough, or behave well enough, or pray enough…I love you because you exist, because you are MINE!”
Brought tears to my eyes! Thank you, Heather!!! I really needed to hear that right now!
Bod bless!
Ditto Vita! I got chills reading that Heather! Thank you for such a beautiful post!
Great pic!
Beautiful photo!
Wow, J Lo said that??? Nice pic, too.
The sentiments of Motherhood are as natural as creation itself.
…and the proaborts want women NOT to have these feelings and sentiments? Sheeeesh!
Guess motherhood CHANGED her. Her own husband, Marc Anthony was quoted in a magazine(sorry, can’t remember which!) as saying that while Jennifer was pregnant “she was very demanding…”She said ‘it’s all about ME now”.

Made me think “Uh..no, DIVA.It’s all about your BABIES now”. She was quoted as saying “I’m not going to breastfeed, because my mom didn’t, and that’s good enough for me”.
Needless to say, I’m not a fan of J-LO .
