Thank God the bus driver had his eyes on the road!
She wasn’t a ‘toddler’, she was 8 months old at the time. She was barely crawling. A ‘toddler’ is one who ‘toddles’, or walks with wobbly steps, as it were.
Jill, I don’t know that this one is a “break” – just thinking about what could have happened… the fact that social services is involved in the lives of those kids – it gets my blood pumping for sure.
