Quote of the Day 5-11-10
I think Margaret Sanger would be proud that Planned Parenthood is the biggest provider of reproductive health care in America….
And I also think she would be dismayed that it is still so hard for so many women to get access to birth control.
~Cecile Richards, President of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, as quoted by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, May 7

Why is it hard to get access to birth control? What’s so difficult about going to the drugstore and buying some condoms?
Birth control as in abortion, Cecile?
You don’t even have to buy them, phillymiss. Highschools have them for free in the nurse’s clinic…
Cecile might be talking about the 3rd world countries, maybe those who value life more than a promiscuous liestyle.
“‘Our health care sector is collapsed,’ Kenya obstetrician Stephen Karanja says simply, opening his hands in a gesture of hopelessness. ‘Thousands of Kenyan people will die of malaria, the treatment for which costs a few cents, in health facilities whose shelves are stocked to the ceiling with millions of dollars worth of [contraceptive] pills, IUDs, Norplant, Depo-Provera, and so on, most of which are supplied with American money.'”

I posted this elsewhere on this site, but it just seems applicable. Can you say “Eugenics”, anyone?
Cecile caint hep it.
She was born with her moms left foot in her ‘b.o.’
Phillymiss…I thought the SAME THING. REALLY difficult to go to Walmart and pick up a pack of condoms…
And the ironic thing Cecile, is that when my friend aborted her 6 week old baby at one of your death clinics 8 years ago she went back to her followup appointment and asked for birth control. She was a young 19 year old. She thought they would SURELY give her the pills for free but informed her she had to pay for them…FIFTY DOLLARS.
My friend sputtered “But I just had an abortion here last week!” but they would not give her the birth control for free. Now with all the donations PP receives and tax dollars also, if they TRULY were concerned about women’s access to birth control, they would have handed my friend a year’s supply for FREE.
After all, all the help we pro-lifers give pregnant women we give for FREE. All the baby supplies, maternity clothes, help with living situations, jobs, health care etc…all FREE OF CHARGE.
Based on that which side is REALLY concerned about helping women and which side is just in it for the money?
I believe Ms. Richards is in it mainly for the Abortion of “lesser” individuals and the promotion of the Culture of Death…the money is just gravy…a means to an end.
