Quote of the Day 6-10-10
Sen. Barbara Boxer already is attacking Carly Fiorina over abortion — inaccurately….
Maybe Boxer doesn’t know this, but overturning Roe vs. Wade wouldn’t overturn CA’s legalized abortion law. Getting rid of Roe only would put the matter back with the states.
Boxer also is wrong that getting rid of Roe “would mean women and doctors in jail.” Back when abortion was illegal, women were not jailed in America, but pitied for their mistake. And as to “doctors,” before being jailed for killing children, these quacks had their medical credentials taken away, so they no longer were doctors.
~John Seiler, Orange Punch, June 9

I’m not so convinced that Carly is that pro-life, even with the “pro-life” endorsements.
I would not be surprised if, as a senator, she votes pro-choice.
Just a hunch…
she would be better than barbara it seems..
I hope you’re wrong, Carder……for the sake of the pro lifers that are voting for her in November AND for the sake of the Susan B Anthony List’s reputation…….
Roe V.Wade will be overturned based on the fact that our Founding Fathers unanimously stated that all Men are CREATED equal (as in brought into being) not born equal, for our Founding Fathers obviously knew we were created BEFORE we are brought forth from our Mothers Womb. It is thus at the moment we are created equal in The Eyes of God, that we are endowed with the unalienable, fundamental, Right to Life upon which our Right to Liberty and The Pursuit of Happiness depends. According to our Founding Fathers, this is a “self-evident” Truth. The Right to due process is binding in both Federal and State Law. Obviously, Personhood does not depend on location. Who could argue that a Person is a Person in say, New Jersey, but not a Person in New York? A Person is a Person in every location, including inside or outside of their Mother’s Womb.
Good point, Nancy.
But I think it’s (‘all men being CREATED equal’) not “sef-evident” enough to pro-aborts and their ilk.
