My new favorite commercial features an adorable baby and a song that is a BIG comeback hit.
And here’s the original commercial. Look at the clothing, shoes and hairdo’s that the kids are wearing. LOL!
Who is brave enough to admit wearing those roller skates from 40 years ago?

Never wanted to skate. I have enough trouble walking! And since I could never even learn to whistle or blow bubble gum, why take the chance? :)

I just took them out and used the key to tighten and loosen the metal part where the toe of you shoe goes.

This happy-go-lucky song never bothered me until I saw and heard the book tour interviews of the Girls Like Us book that came out a couple of years ago, about the lives of Carole King, Joni Mitchell, and Carly Simon and their part in our changing culture of 40 years ago. Gave me pause.

That commercial has been playing on TV in our area, I’ve heard the song, but just now saw it. Enjoyed it too!
