Quote of the Day 11-19-10
We would not be closing today if Planned Parenthood had not started providing abortion services in the same town where we have been providing abortion care for 30 years.
In starting to provide abortion, they were NOT responding to a local need. Their actions did NOT expand access.
We made a difficult decision, one that is responsible.
~Beverly Whipple, founder of the now-closed abortion mill, Cedar River Clinic, in Yakima, WA, as quoted by RH Reality Check, November 18

The words “abortion” and “care” do not belong together.
Wow! I cannot believe that Ms. Whipple went off script like that and actually slammed Planned Parenthood. More abortion mills always means more access, isn’t that right?
Loss of blood money might have made Mrs. Whipple a tad cranky.
I agree, Carla! I’m delighted to see a facility close but not please it’s because of another murder-for-hire business. Business, ladies, not care. No one at an abortion clinic cares about the mothers, only their bottom line. Maybe they should have just become a CPC instead.
“We made a difficult decision, one that is responsible.”
So they aborted themselves. How noble. Why does she sound so down about it?
I don’t see what difference it makes who provides the abortions. Aren’t they constantly telling us that abortion isn’t for profit? Well if you’re just providing charity to the community – more charity is better, no? *crickets*
So Planned Parenthood is not about access but about cornering the market for abortions. That concurs with what we know about them. So I guess it’s not about choice of providers – it’s all about PP’s bottom line.
As they say – follow the money.
And I guess the up-side of this is that the other abortion provider is out of that line of work. maybe they can have a free medical clinic there instead. That would be redeeming and helpful.
So abortion is just a business after all… who knew? Poor, poor Cedar River Clinic.
No one at an abortion clinic cares about the mothers, only their bottom line.
Hmm . . . I don’t think this is always true. While I do think that some people are in the abortion business to make a profit, there are others who feel that they are really helping women. From what I understand, PP doesn’t pay its lower level staffers much. But I don’t think that any abortionists — er sorry, “abortion doctors” are on public assistance!
Although they “feel” they are helping women are they??? Totally misguided attempt to “help” IMHO. If they are post abortive they might be trying to justify their own by “helping” women abort as well. The counselors are trained on how to “sell” abortion. It is what they do.
40 Days for Life sees many abortion clinic workers leave the biz and they have even helped them get other employment.
Everytime the pro-aborts use the term “abortion care” it sends a cold shiver up and down my spine….
Do they really, really think, that deep, deep down in their souls they are providing “care” when they kill or support the killing of the unborn?
Lord, have mercy on us.
RSD,
When I read an article about abortion “doulas” I got the same shivers. “Helping” women deliver dead children.
Abortion “doulas”? Good grief! I didn’t even know there WAS such a thing!:O
Yes indeed, Pamela. Check this out.

Abortionists cannibalizing abortionists and the loser crying over lost money. How utterly delicious. I’m only sad that PP came out on top, as they have a broader network and good internal resources.
Here’s another, Pamela!

They quote someone named Jill Stanek. :)
As the beast devours the smaller beasts, that will eventually leave us with one big target. A large beast can be taken down by many small arrows. Watch out Cecile! You may have to brush up your resume and go job hunting, someday soon!
A quote by Mike Pence YES!!!
“How about, let’s deny all federal funding to Planned Parenthood of America? That would save $350 million right off the top,” he said of his bill that would deny Title X money to organizations that do abortions.
He added: “The American people — millions of Americans are offended that the largest abortion provider in America is also the largest recipient of federal funding under Title 10.”
Women in the kill mill business have that same evil look in their eyes as the men do.
Eek.
Has anyone ever cropped abortionists pics down to just the eyes and put them all together? I don’t know how to do this stuff and I can’t remember who comes here who does a great job with comp pictures. This would be an interesting collage.
“In starting to provide abortion, they were NOT responding to a local need. Their actions did NOT expand access.”
There is no honor among thieves, liars and murderers.
This reminds of a scene from a movie starring George C. Scott called ‘Okalahoma Crude.
Some competitors come to set fire to Scotts oil well but he is lying in wait for them in the derrick and he gets the drop on them with a double barrel shotgun and makes them stand where they are while he urninates on them from above.
Scott advises them not to take it personal.
Says business men do it to one another all the time.
Praxedes,
You are thinking of our very talented commenter Cranky Catholic!!
The dead eyes of an abortionist collage. Hmmmm.
Thanks Carla. Now I remember. It’s that Crankster who has this wonderful gift.
I was just checking out eyes on the web and I think people like hitler and sanger would be nice additions to a Prodeath Eye Collage.
I wonder if cran, megs and joanie would send in a pic of their eyes to add to the cause?
No, I doubt they would because they’d probably find it too creepy, as I do.
