Great fun. What a lovely family! ;)
I love this! The little one is trying to sing along! LOL So cute. :)
That is absolutely fabulous! I’m one of eight children and my mother has gotten some of those comments. The difference is, yes, we ARE Catholic and I don’t think any of us were mistaken for twins. (Well except two of my sisters, and they’re about 7 years apart!)
I love, love, love this! My husband and I have eight children, we are Catholic, and we have heard every single one of these comments. It used to make me angry, now it makes me sad. The culture of death has so infultrated every area of our society including the church. Contraception is the norm, which is disobedience to God not to mention the cause of early abortions. The gift of life is precious, yet so often we say “No” to God because we don’t trust that He knows better than we do as far as how many children we should have.
In all my years of hearing all of these comments, I have never heard anyone say, “Boy, I really regret giving birth to so and so”, but I have heard, many times over, the voice of regret, that a woman was sterilized or the man had a vasectomy. They so often wish they would have had more, the most famous of these that I know being Martha Stewart.
When she was asked if she would have done anything different in her life, her response was, “I would have had many more children.” We have bought into the idea that children are a burden instead of the gift that they are. God help us to open our eyes and see truth.
God bless this family!
