Quote of the Day 1-26-11
And they told me that she…she had hydrocephalus, which is something that is water in the ventricles and that she might not survive. They told me that I shouldn’t have her and it wasn’t gonna be good if I did. But I decided to keep forward with the pregnancy.

What a beautiful story….and her little girl is adorable!
I don’t watch American Idol (although two of my favorite singers are Idol Winners: Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson) so I will be rooting for Paris, but not watching the show.
I say the prolife bloggers network do a “Vote for Paris” campaign every time she’s up for consideration, assuming she makes the preliminary cuts.
That was beautiful!!!!
I”m serious. Do you think it would fly?
Imagine it: “Vote for Paris!” blaring off of every prolife computer screen (Oh, Twitter and facebook, too)
the day of and watch choicers’ heads explode.
Opinions, please.
Be nice.
I remember HillBuzz pushing voting for Bristol Palin on DWTS, which infuriated more than a few people.
Oh my goodness. That was so inspirational! Thanks for posting!
I was born with the same thing (which I’ve mentioned before). It’s fluid on the BRAIN. I have a shunt, and I’m fine. good for you, Paris!!!
*I don’t watch the show anymore, either*
I don’t know. I don’t like supporting American Idol at all, even just by voting. While I think your concept might be effective, carder, I just don’t really agree with it. I don’t like the show, and I don’t like the concept of intentionally skewing the results of a talent competition because you like a candidate’s personal morality…
The show is played out. Also, I don’t like they way they ridicule people who obviously have mental health issues. I know that performers have to give consent to be filmed, but that doesn’t make it right.

Prov 18:16 A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men. [Gen 32:20; 1 Sam 25:27; Prov 17:8; 21:14.] AMP
Prov 22:29 Do you see a man diligent and skillful in his business? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men. AMP
1 Sam 2:30 But now the LORD says…For those who honor Me I will honor, and those who despise Me shall be lightly esteemed. AMP
Paris Tassin’s most precious gift is her daughter.
Paris made room for God’s gift, her daughter, now GOD is making room for Paris’ gifts.
Paris Tassin’s gifts have brought her into the presence of leaders in commerce, in industry and in the arts.
I still like the show. They’ve demphasized the no-talents this year.
The only winner I disagreed with was Reuben Studdard. I couldn’t believe the praise he got from the judges after a song in which he needed to take a breath in the middle of a line. Fine for a five-year-old, but come on!
Go Paris! She looks like a finalist.
Truly amazing.
