Love this message, love this man – oh how I miss Ronald Reagan! (His homegoing to the LORD was 7 years ago this month. How time flies!)

Wow… to hear him say it so eloquently, so candidly, without apology is inspiring. May God grant us in 2012 a President who will love, respect and protect LIFE.
Miss you, RR! God Bless You!
What a beautiful, beautiful speech. And a beautiful video.
When Nancy Reagan started campaigning for embryonic stem cell research using HIS name and HIS diagnosis of Alzheimer’s, I was appalled! I’m sure he was rolling in his grave.
Thanks for posting that, Jill, it moved me to tears
It was a perfect storm, a quorum of life, a critical mass of humanness.
Reagan

Francis Schaeffer
Without the latter two, Evangelicals probably wouldn’t have climbed aboard the pro-life cause as soon. I’d even argue that they were responsible for ECT (Evangelicals and Catholics Together), and the New Ecumenism including the Eastern church.
That trifecta catalyzed dramatic changes in American culture, as much as it tapped into what makes American culture distinct in a secularizing world.
As a sad note, son Frank Schaeffer — frequently seen at HuffPo airing his conflicted laundry — betrayed the legacy. Os had much to say on that a while back: http://goo.gl/tthfS Tragic.
Gah! He’s more bonkers than I thought.

Geez. This. Is. Sad.
