Lunch Break Special: MLK’s last speech – “I Have Been to the Mountaintop”
by LauraLoo
Here is an excerpt of the last speech of one of the greatest public speakers of all time, Martin Luther King, Jr., who fought against discrimination and racism.
Truly an inspirational and climatic ending.
He was murdered in 1968, the day after this speech.

MLK was pro-life to the core. Democratic party leaders ought to revisit his writings and come home to the values and principles upon which they once stood.
Niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Dr. Alveda King, breaking into song….
This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine.
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
If your light won’t shine, please don’t put out mine.
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
And adding…..
If your light won’t shine, I’ll give you some of mine!
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine.
