Pro-life vid of day: MSNBC host gives worst pro-Roe commentary of all time
by Hans Johnson
In his commentary about the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, MSNBC host Touré gave thanks for the death of his child to abortion 15 years ago. Stating his child would have just “made a mess of three lives,” he is grateful that “abortion was there to save me”:
Wrote Katie Pavlich at Townhall:
Toure went on what he called an abortion rant in which he thanked God and country abortion was there to “save him” at a time when taking care of a baby and becoming a father would have been inconvenient for him. He also refers to abortion as a “safety net.”
Got that? Toure was willing to end the life of an unborn child so his own life could remain convenient and less responsible. He’s proud of it, too.

I wonder if this glimmering jewel ever stopped to consider he would not be here if his incubator and/or sperm donor harbored the same short sighted and bigoted attitudes?

“I was in a committed relationship with a woman who I just knew was not the one.”
What happens when you decide after the baby is born that your sex partner is just “not the one?”

For people who like to forcibly stake claims on the words “compassion” and “tolerance,” they sure show none of it, rather making their lives all about “me.” Profit is not just corporate revenue; living a more comfortable life on the broken, ripped-to-shreds back of a unborn child is more evil than charging people a high price for stuff.

But he was not smart enough and man enough to go to bed with this girl that he knew was not the one. This is disgusting. One child was killed so he could go on and sleep around without consequence. There is no medical debate about when life begins. Sorry you are disgusting.

You are absolutely right.
Um — didn’t these Obamabots ever hear of adoption? And yet this guy is the type that talks about innocent children being shot because of lack of gun control laws. Don’t get me wrong — I support reasonable gun control restrictions, but wasn’t the child he killed innocent, too? I wish I could get him in a room with Ryan Bomberger.
Once again, I must quote Mother Teresa: “It is a terrible poverty to abort a child so that you may live as you wish.”

How is it possible that someone can say they want abortion to be “safe, legal, and rare” while bemoaning that abortion isn’t accessible enough? 1,200,000 dead babies aren’t enough?
How is it possible that someone can say they want abortion to be “safe, legal, and rare” while bemoaning “restrictions” placed on abortion that make it safer?
How is it possible that someone can say in 2013 that when life begins is an “unsolvable” medical mystery?
His entire argument for killing his child is that he wasn’t ready to raise a baby and wants his children to have two parents that love each other? Apparently he’s never heard of adoption. He was in a “committed” relationship with someone that he loved enough to sleep with but not enough to marry?
What a pig.

Wonder how many hours he spent bullying this woman, and making sure she understood just how little he was going to be there for her.

Lrning, I’m sure that if someone mentioned adoption to him, he would repeat the lie that “nobody wants” black babies.
I used to think this guy was just an idiot, but now he’s a repugnant idiot.

funny you should mention that, Lrning. I just received a response comment on YouTube yesterday stating that exact thing:
“pirbird14 5 hours ago
A single cell is not an organism. Some biology texts refer to the immediate product of conception as a “primordium of a human being”. Recent texts have been stating that your life began in the epithelium cells of your grandmothers. Ther is in fact no scientific opinion regarding the beginning of a human being because there is no scientific definition of the term “human being”. The science factoids you have dragged in do not hide the fact that you are merely offering your own subjective opinion.”

What is it about people with one name? It’s their world, and we’re just players in it. (Cher, Madonna, Toure….)

My heart cries for the poor woman who loved this narcissist.
Her child is dead.
She has to live with the aftermath of this every day.
And now she gets to watch the man who abandoned her gloat about it on television.

Why is this weird man a host on TV? Or, better yet, why is the weird network that hired him still on the air?

It would be interesting to get her side of the story . . . . . . I wonder if she realized how “committed” he was. . . . . .

I just hope all the pro-choicers denounce him for having an opinion on abortion while also being a man. After all, we all have been told that that is forbidden.

After our divorce I asked my ex-husband if he would have married me if I hadn’t been 5 mos. pregnant and his answer was “I don’t know.” After twenty years of marriage that really hurt. I am glad I got rid of that jerk.

Toure reflects the sentiment that alot of men in his age group have when it comes to the convenient way to dispose of a big “problem”. The man is in a serious state of denial. God help us all!

Oh, I dunno — there’s also Jesus, Gandhi, and a few others we just know by their first names!

Hans,
Between :50 and 1:21 he has an epiphany which he chooses to ignore…threw that merciful opportunity in the trash with the baby he helped choose to kill…he did own the abortion, didn’t he?
How many are going to find themselves before the Judge of the Earth (Jesus) trying to explain why they chose judgment instead of mercy?
May God have mercy on this man…Blacks used to know when people were trying to kill them and their children…Zo is right…Sanger did a good job…

For Lrning and Phillymiss: Do you really believe that there are adults in the United States who have never heard of adoption?
What needs to be explained is why it remains so very unpopular. Here is an article that addresses that question. http://www.arcc-cdac.ca/postionpapers/41-Why-Few-Women-Choose-Adoption.pdf
“Ever heard of adoption?” Everyone has. I discussed adoption when interviewed for a recent documentary.
But for some reason, a million women don’t place babies for adoption each year. When people see a pregnant woman, it is not customary to ask, “Are you raising this one or placing for adoption?”

Denise, could you please explain why you are so obsessed with adoption?

(Denise) YOU were the one who first mentioned adoption on this thread. I’m asking you to explain why it isn’t more popular. People know about it.
I’m not “obsessed.” I’ve never placed for adoption and am not adoption. I have friends who are adopted.

Toure, you are despicable. How dare you thank God for your complacency in your own child’s murder by those vile abortionists.
