Go Granny Go! Amazing! LL :D
WOW! Amazing!!!
That is incredible.
So graceful! My goodness, my grandma is 6 years younger than her, but can barely walk, never mind gymnastic exercises!
This is the coolest thing ever, thanks for the video Hans.
Jack,
You’ll be happy to hear that in another video she said she stays in shape by “eating a lot of greens”.
I do too. Green M&Ms. ;)
86 years old… with the legs of a 20-year-old.
You go, Girl!!!
Del:
You noticed those legs too:)
The upper body strength that gymnasts have is amazing, and for the 86 year old to hold that parallel suspension (I don’t know what they call it) is simply incredible. Gives us all hope if we take good care of ourselves.
Del… I was just thinking that! I’m 32 and my legs don’t look that good! I’ll totally trade with her! ha ha! She is awesome.
My great aunt lived in NYC for 70 years and she was in her 90’s an could outwalk any of us. Her stamina and speed when walking was amazing. She credited her good physical shape with 7 decades of not driving a car but walking to where she had to go.
Cool!
I agree, Sydney! I always see little old men and ladies walking in NYC. I think it really keeps one’s body “young.” Living in a place where I don’t need to have a car, and can walk to get my daily errands/transportation accomplished, is of primary importance to me – definitely more important than the size of the home, etc. I don’t need to live in NYC forever but I don’t know that I would ever be happy living in one of those suburbs where you need to drive for 10 minutes just to get to a convenience store. I’d rather live on a rural farm than in a cul-de-sac sort of place.
My real estate agent was telling me a story about one of her clients, an 85-year old woman who lived in a very narrow, very tall house – it was four different levels but each level was about 1/2 story up from the next, kind of in a zig-zag shape, with stairs going in various places to various levels. She said that she got out of breath just touring the house but this little old lady just bounded around like it was nothing. The real estate agent asked her what her secret was, to staying so fit at such an age, and she said, “I live in a house full of staircases! That’s my secret.”
Could we decrease abortions by encouraging relationships between young men and post-menopausal women?

Lol this is my new favorite Denise-ism.
About as reasonable as any Denise suggestion, I suppose.
Very Harold and Maude, Denise.
Please don’t feed the troll.
I should have looked up what her signature move is called, since we only really hear it at the Olympics. Turns out it is the “full planche”.

“Please don’t feed the troll.”
Sorry. It’s just so hard to resist. I guess I a going to have to join troll-feeders anonymous or something. :)
When Paladin gets back you will be in sooooooo much trouble. :)
I’m not a troll. I very seriously believe this could decrease abortion and I very much want to see the appalling number of abortions decrease.

Saying things like THIS over and over and over again makes you a troll. And seriously makes me question your sanity.

(Denise) Was Benjamin Franklin insane?
He might have ended that way. He did have syphilis. He was brilliant in many ways, but he was not a model of fidelity.
