Jill Stanek is a nurse turned speaker, columnist and blogger, a national figure in the effort to protect both preborn and postborn innocent human life.
Children deserve to grow up in a caring, connected, and committed family with a mother and a father. It is how they do best. Thank you to all the dads who make that happen especially those who foster and/or adopt.
And let’s not forget the divorced or single fathers who make the best out of a bad situation.
Or the step-dads who do a great job! LL :)
Our Dad jokingly called himself “The Iron Thumb” for a couple weeks when Mom was out of town. Like he didn’t lay down the law at other times!
He’s been the Iron Hands guiding us. We tend to overlook fathers who are always there, like the Sun in the sky.
