Pro-life vid of day: Christina Applegate “unsure” about more kids
As reported by People:
Like many mothers, Christina Applegate [pictured right with husband Martyn LeNoble] can’t decide if she wants to have more kids.
“I’m 41 years old and I don’t know if I could do the whole not sleeping thing again…. If I was 35, then maybe I’d have the energy.”…
Still Applegate admits that she may change her mind….
“I think we both want to make another Sadie. We watch this little person and she’s so perfect and she enhances our life so much that you go, God — how could we not produce more of these?
We’re both kind of like, ‘Eh, we’re a little old’ — we don’t know,'” she says.
Moms, how did you feel at 41? Were you “too old” and lacking the stamina required to have more children?

Well, I’m almost 39 (so not 41) and expecting another girl in a couple months and I’m thrilled. She’ll probably wind up being the last one (given how hard it was to get her here) but I wouldn’t say no to more if God blessed us with them!
I’m 36 and just had #7. He’s a sweetie, but it’s pretty brutal with all the sleep I’m losing. I always wondered how people could get to the point where they didn’t want another baby-because who wouldn’t want a baby?!?-but I’m really wondering if I would be able to handle having another after this.
I’m 25 and definitely don’t want more kids. I’m in awe of people n their late thirties and forties who have a bunch.
Had my last of four at the age of 40. Wouldn’t trade him for the world but have noticed that I don’t feel as “spry” as I did with my first born. :)
Sleep and clean houses are overrated.
Yeah, over 40, you can wish all you want, but for many of us it just didn’t happen.
Had #7 at 38. I would like more, but the older ones seem to need way more of my time than the little one. Oldest is going off to college in a week and we start the whole college process over again with #2 this year…
I’m shocked you all are not attacking her for not thinking of having another baby. What happens when she “gasps” uses birth control to prevent a baby. Or what if she gets pregnant and then decides she doesn’t want anymore?
My mom had me at almost 38. I’m the youngest of 4. So glad my mom gathered enough strength to want to have me! But my mom did tell me if I had been her firstborn I would have been an only child. lol. ;-)
I just turned 33 and I have 2 boys. 6 years old and 17 months and I would LOVE to have one more child. But I don’t know about having 4. My first was a great sleeper, easy baby and this last one still wakes up several times a night and is a willful little baby. My friend who was pregnant with her second boy the same time I was pregnant with my second boy (we were due around the same time) is already in the 3rd trimester with her 3rd child…a girl. I am exhausted when I even contemplate being pregnant again already!
