Pro-life vid of day: “Pro-choice” vandalism, threats on campus
by Hans Johnson
Last Thursday there was no attempt at a “free exchange of ideas” made by two male students with the Students for Life at Indiana University. One ripped up a display of 915 pink crosses which represented the 915 abortions committed daily by Planned Parenthood while saying abortion is “awesome.” He returned later to pick many up and throw them in the trash saying, “That’s where they need to be!”
The other student warned: “You’re in conflict with the world that I want – which is a world where all your churches burn!” He then proclaimed: “And if we are ever strong enough we are going to stop you!”

Thanks for the disclaimer Hans (haha). All one can do is wish these types “a very good day” and carry on. Did this ”dude” realize he was being videotaped for all to see?

I wonder if any of our abortion-tolerant regulars (or trolls) would care to defend what this chap in the video did? Is that an acceptable thing to do, do you think?
It’s also rather telling that the Students for Life were not the ones rampaging through the vandals’ belongings and throwing them in the trash, etc.; and yet, pro-lifers are portrayed as dangerous and self-control-impaired by the secular media.
For those with eyes to see… (*sigh*)

These people really believe they are right. I’ve met and argued with plenty of them. There is no changing their minds.

Stop us? NOT!!

Pro-aborts hang unto the legality of abortion thus I applaud efforts to invalidate Roe vs. Wade. In another thread I referred to abortion as homicide. I know I may get crucified for making this comparison but abortionists need to realize that in fact they are taking the life of another person.

I believe the words and behavior this young man displays towards a law-abiding woman is threatening and harassing. He points at her and says, “f*ck you.” If anyone knows who he is, I think a police report should be filed at the very least. He behaves like the typical calm before a storm and could explode physically towards someone the next time.

And do we hear about anything like this in the mainstream press? I could be wrong, but I’m guessing no, continuing the stereotype that it is always our side that does things like this, and that everyone on our side either does it or supports it.

This is the kind of penny-ante thug that allowed the killing fields of Cambodia and the forced starvation of the Ukraine.

Duuuuuuuuuuuude,
You are angry about something! Let’s get to the bottom of it. Because it has NOTHING to do with what others are doing or not doing. And has EVERYTHING to do with why you think it is ok to murder innocent human beings.
Own your anger.
Own your hatred.

I agree that a police report should be filed.

Can you imagine what would happen if it were the other way around, a pro-life male harrassing a pro-abort female? It would be all over MSNBC, HuffPo, etc., ad nauseum!

The student that ripped up the crosses and threw some out should have a police report filed against him. I don’t think the student on video is necessarily guilty of breaking any law, unless there’s a profanity law. IMO, that wasn’t a threatening display of temper. He has a difference of opinion and uses some violent language in stating his opinion.
I do find it odd that the girl recorded on the video seemed to be arguing that a display of crosses had nothing to do with religion. But may God bless the Students for Life for their bravery in drawing students’ attention to the atrocity of abortion.

Sounds threatening to me.

So according to bizarre pro-abortion logic calling out to a woman about to abort her baby and telling her that her baby has a heartbeat and there is help available to her is harassment and misogynistic.
But an enraged male threatening a woman with unwanted sexual penetration while destroying her property is…what? Standing for women’s rights?

Yeah… if saying “eff you” is illegal than everyone I’ve ever beat at Call of Duty on XBox Live is guilty of a crime lol. I don’t think he’d ever get charged for anything. It might be borderline with the churches burning thing, he MIGHT be charged with instigating violence which isn’t protected free speech. But if WBC and the KKK have their rhetoric protected, I’d bet he’d win his case. I don’t think he could be charged with harassment either, he didn’t touch her or personally threaten her.
The idiot ripping up crosses definitely committed vandalism though, I hope he sees the inside of a jail cell and some community service. Totally out of line. And if they are so sure they are right, I don’t know why they can’t allow people to express different opinions.
And who threatened anyone with unwanted sexual penetration? Did I miss a threat like that?

Jack, this occurred on a University Campus during a university-sanctioned demonstration. Although his words may be too vague for charges to be filed, a police report can be filed and university officials need to most definitely be informed with a statement from the protest’s organizers and a copy of it also forwarded to an attorney.
I agree with Praxedes that this young man has the appearance of a loose cannon. It’s great that now there is a video of him.

No, I’m fine with a report being filed and university officials being notified, the police should be informed of a possible bad situation and the university should know what problems could result between students. But I definitely don’t think that a crime was committed by him. “He might be a loose cannon” isn’t a basis for any type of charge.
He didn’t even sound particularly “loose cannon-y” to me, he just seemed annoyed more than anything. But people should be informed just in case.

“Just in case” is always the modus operandi in these cicrumstances.

If a student said “f*ck you.” to another student/teacher who disagreed with him, a report would be made and he would be dealing with authority figures.
There are always signs before violence and his language toward this woman is a sign. This was not two people playing a competitive video game through the internet but two people face-to-face who don’t know each other communicating different views.
I’ve never said things like this to a complete stranger but I have worked with folks who have. Starts in the heart, goes to the head, comes out the mouth, and the next step is fists and/or weapons.
In my experience, “Loose cannon-y” for sure.

And someday when he is “strong enough” and has enough like minded peeps around him and does something cray cray…..we have the video.
He is more than annoyed Jack. Look in his eyes. Listen to his voice.
