Pro-life video of the day: Pedi amazing mom
by LauraLoo
From In the Market with Janet Parshall:
Everyone struggles with limitations; some limitations are just more obvious than others! Born with a congenital defect, Sarah Kovac’s life has been a daily challenge. She [shares] her powerful story of wrestling with her imperfections and learning to rest in the arms of the One who loves us unconditionally!
Sarah was born with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC), a rare congenital birth defect that left her with arms that are of little use. She is the author of a book entitled, In Capable Arms.

What a remarkable and determined mom she is!

Oh Sarah.
You are an absolute inspiration!! I am so very proud of you and your precious son Ethan!!
God bless you and Ethan and your husband!!
Has anyone heard of that newscaster Bree Walker? Well, she has a condition called electrodayctlism (sp) where her fingers and toes are partially fused together. Some people gave her grief because she dared to have not just one, but TWO children knowing she could pass on the condition, and she did, to both of them. According to a documentary done on them later, her daughter was a smart, popular girl, and her son was a smart guy with some depression from being picked on at that time, but is any of this a reason to have aborted either one of them?
This reminds me about an observation that Fr. Robert Barron made regarding God’s presence in one’s life. He called sin ‘incredibly boring’ because the focus is on the self (and too often on ‘what is wrong about ME’)! If however, the focus is about Him then one is frree to explore outside-the-box.
Pax (and thanks), Sarah.
Update on that family I mentioned before, the son is now in college and I believe the daughter has graduated from college. Sorry if my first post about them may have come out kind of clumsily (if that’s a word) (-: I tried to delete it and start again, but I kept getting error messages.
P.S. I’m not going to mention the kids’ names here, but they have also been public about their disability.
