Pro-life vid of day: Coach’s autistic son sings National Anthem
by LauraLoo
Marley Sommer, eldest son of Roy Sommer (coach of the Worcester Sharks) was given the privilege recently to sing the National Anthem before the Sharks competed against the Hartford Wolf Pack.
Marley (aka “Mo”) is actively involved with his dad and the team behind the scenes. Mo does not let his Down Syndrome and autism get in the way of doing something as challenging as singing in front of thousands:

Mo,
THANK YOU BUDDY!!
Awesome job!!
I liked the way Mo gently pushed his father away when he attempted to assist him onto the ice. Independence and self-assurance are important factors here. Also, the fact that the organization is open to have Mo behind the scenes and embraced him, is to be commended.
