Pro-life vid of day: Lindsay Lohan reveals miscarriage

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan dropped a bombshell last night on the finale of her reality show (produced by Oprah’s OWN Network). She confessed that she suffered a miscarriage (link includes a photo of her alleged list of sexual conquests). Lindsay didn’t say how far along in the pregnancy she was, nor would she reveal the father. She took a few days off from the show because of the miscarriage.
Lindsay’s story is reported in the first minute of ABC’s early morning TV report.

It is a sign of the times when someone says they are pregnant and the first response is…who is the father?
Poor Lindsay. I don’t pay much attention to celebrity gossip but I’m rooting for her. She’s only a couple years older than me and was in some of my favorite movies as a kid (Parent Trap, etc.); it’s so tragic what drugs have done to her over the years. And now on top of all that she has to deal with losing a baby. I can’t imagine.
Also, weird that the news articles say that she “admitted” or “confessed” to having a miscarriage, as if she did something wrong. “Revealed” is more appropriate.
This young woman’s life is a never ending catastrophe.
How very sad and such a waste.
This is just so sad. I feel horrible for her.
And yeah what the heck is with the language the news is using!? Confessed to having a miscarriage? No one can control that, and I’m sure that language is hurting her even more. My heart goes out to her and I truly hope she gets healing. I can’t imagine how hard that must be for her.
It must be pretty hard to be a celebrity.

When I read what a horror story Judy Garland’s life was, I have to agree it can be a pretty hard life, especially when children like Judy and Lindsay have been pushed into it by parents.
Yeah. And it can be hard because if they want to grieve/deal with personal issues quietly, everyone will either want to know why, create/invent/speculate wildly as to the reason behind *any* aberrant behavior, or you are forced to divulge. It can be really hard. especially with people who have a history of acting out on their pain.
I personally would not want the world discussing my problems. It’s hard enough knowing family will/does/can discuss your issues. i can’t imagine knowing anyone with an internet connection or the ability to read can have access to your issues and fears.
I agree. Sadly its a life some have been pushed into as children, Lohan being one of them. Do they have any concept of a normal life?

I just wonder if it’s actually TRUE – or if she’s just saying it to get sympathy and attention ? It’s torture to go through for REAL- believe me. I feel sorry for her, regardless. She lives a sad existence.

Great actress and sorry to hear of her battle with substance abuse. However I did read that Lohan had in fact aborted after checking into a hospital for a night claiming her appendix needed to be removed. Reports of her abortion were leaked from a radio show and her mother was especially unhappy about it. I guess it was proven true. Not every woman is okay with telling the truth about abortion.
Actually L.Lohan is fading away from being a great actress. All the hype today is about her substance abuse and lifestyle. Im not sure about when this miscarriage took place but I went back through my search engine and found her abortion was in 2009. It says the actresd felt it was for the best because of her substance abuse.
Mary from what I understand Judy Garland was pressured into an abortion she didn’t want. Having an out of wedlock child in the thirties, forties or fifties was a disgrace, especially for a celebrity. Her mental health was always fragile, and I am sure that did not help matters.
Hi phillymiss…ive read the same about Garland. I believe shed had 3. Re: Lohan Ive just read today that before even getting her sea legs with Oprah she was dumped from the show and her movie comeback was a flop. I really hope she can pull it together.
