Dialogue? Reasoned discourse? Disparate parties seeking truth and goodness together?
Never gonna happen again. Those ideas belong to the Middle Ages.
Although we wouldn’t mind trying. We think we have a good grasp on science, social morality, and love for women and children.
Some goof waving a camera in people’s faces often deserves “the hand.”
“Dialogue”? Created Equal is making too much of a joke of themselves to really go there….
Trust Women…to do what? Know when its the right time to kill their children?
Amen, Carmine.
Created Equal, let’s hear what you have to say.
In the meantime, how about putting your toys away, and growing up, for all our sake?
The funny part is that it is the pro-life movement who genuinely trust women — to think, to care, and to want to do the right thing. We invite the dialogue.
It is the pro-borts who are angry, loud, and always shouting down the discussion.
Look at the picture: It is possible that someone has just said something rude and deserving of the hand. But the young women do not look angry or offended.
The young women are looking at the older woman. It appears that they were a bit surprised by her interruption of their discussion with the picture-taker. They are watching their mentor closely; she is teaching them how to avoid dialogue. The older woman does not trust the young women with any discussion.
Last time New Hampshire had a bill that brought out the wearers of “Trust Women” buttons, I asked legislators how they’d like to see a room full of people wearing “Trust Men” stickers. Wouldn’t that immediately prompt the uneasy thought “trust them to do what …”? Demand the same answer about women.
Wouldn’t that immediately prompt the uneasy thought “trust them to do what …”?
I think a good bit of that is due to the “men are dawgs” sentiment.
As for “Created Equal,” it is clear that we need a detachment of the the Jackson, Mississippi Police detached ASAP!
“Trust Women”… didn’t Professor Eileen Boris, UCSB Dept of Feminist Studies, say women in particular could be in a phase “not fully one’s self fully” and commit crimes of theft and assault because she had no control over her actions? Per her rhetoric, women are not to be trusted.
I’ve noticed quite the influx of pro-choicers lately.
But has there really been an influx, or is it just a troll using an anonymous internet proxy service to support his/her own comments and blow up the comment “likes” as well on various threads?
Bet you can guess what I found out.
Some people must feel so threatened by the pro-life movement that they need to fake a heavy pro-choice presence on a pro-life comment board. ;)
What Kel? Someone “pro-choice” is using deceit?
Shocker, isn’t it, Eric?
“Trust Women? So why can’t pro-choicers “trust women” to go to a CPC if they chose to do so? No, they have to be “warned” of all the evils that lurk there — you know, like getting information about fetal development. Oh, the horror!
