How can anyone be dumb enough to believe that this will do anything to “end” abortion ? Nothing will. Period . Abortion has been common all over the world for thousands of years and will always happen .
If you want to do something about abortion you must prevent more unwanted pregnancies and see to it that contraceptives are always easy to obtain . And make sure that poor pregnant women will get pre-natal care and will be able to provide decent food, shelter, education and medical care for their children .
This exactly what the idiot hypocrites of the GOP are doing everything they can to DENY poor women . And they have the nerve to demand that abortion be made illegal ?
We also insist that rape and murder must be illegal.
Did you know that the No. 1 cause of death for pregnant women is murder? Usually by the father/boyfriend, and most often because she refuses to have the abortion that he demands.
Ending abortion will save many mothers’ lives, as well as their children.
PS — Stop blaming the GOP for everything you hate. America elected them because they seem to represent us. You hate Americans; just go ahead and say it.
If Americans thought the GOP would do anything to hurt American women, we would treat them like we did the recent crowd of Democrats.

How about a new start. For one, we recommend colleges and universities provide accommodations (housing, class schedule adjustment, etc.) for pregnant students. They don’t have to do so, but for any student to qualify for financial aid, the college attended must provide these accommodations. If you have 50% student body female and 3 of 10 (guess) women are expecting before graduation, said accommodations for 3 of 10 women must be provided before any prospective student could receive financial aid to attend. Then the only death would be of the lie of having to kill a child to finish school.
Comparing abortion to murder and rape is ridiculous and totally invalid . This is a woman controlling her own boody, not acting out of malice .
Furthermore, laws against abortion are totally unenforceable. You can enforce laws against murdering a born person, but not a fetus .There is simply no way to keep track of every pregnant woman and keep her from having an abortion .
Fact : Far more abortions take place in countries where it is illegal than where it is legal . And every year in these countires , thousands of deperately poor women die from botched illegal abortions, leaving who knows how many children without mothers .
Lack of access to contraceptives is a major factor in these tragedies . If abortion becomes illegal again in America , I guarantee you the abortion rate will INCREASE significantly, and many,many poor women will die . Trying to stop abortion by making it illegal is like trying to stop a forest fire by pouring gasoline on it .
Malice or not, abortion kills the child.
I can “control my own body,” but not to the point where I can use it to kill Robert Berger. Same principle applies to a mother’s body and her child.
Meanwhile…. American women suffer greatly by the abuse and aftermath of abortion. Even if your bogus stats about women dying everywhere from illegal abortions were true (“thousands of deaths”- Ha!), we still need to do right for American women and their children.
Honestly, do you expect anyone in his right mind to think that abortions will increase if abortion is made illegal? We have already seen a decrease in abortions — and a decrease in abortion-related deaths and injuries — just by persuading the abortion industry to close a third of their clinics!
We are accustomed to lies and lines from abortion advocates — you should at least try to make the believable!
As to whether we ought to “strike” on Jan 22 — I say yes.
It doesn’t have to be dramatic. Just tell your boss that you are taking a vacation day to participate in some pro-life activity or memorial or to spend the day in special appreciation with your family. Tell your co-workers that you are taking the day, and invite them to join you.
Even if you don’t take the day off, HAVE THE CONVERSATIONS! Don’t let the dreadful day pass without doing something good about it.

Nthanson was a liar . Laws against abortion have never been effective and never will be . They don’t work . It’s true – more abortions happen in countries where it’s illegal than where it’s legal .
Also, the more poverty in a country, the mo0re abortions . The less poverty, the fewer abortions . This is why the prosperous countries of Europe, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Scandinavia have the world’s LOWEST abortion rates .

Brazil is the world’s largest Catholic nation and troubled by severe poverty .Abortion is illegal here. Yet more abortions happen here than in the US. The Brazilian government doesn’t even pretend

Only 3 per cent of what Planned Parenthood provides for women abortions . It provides poor women with all manner of medical help , and closing clinics does nothing but deprive women of the things they need for a better life .
PP does not force women to have abortions ; they do so of their own free will and because of their personal problems .

Robert, your reading of history is severely limited, and your grasp of the facts very poor. Your argument that abortion will always happen is a poor excuse, apparently until society is perfect there can be no law since injustice will continue to exist.

Actually Robert, the unintended pregnancy rate has been going up, not down. Abortion rates are going down because more women facing unintended pregnancies are carrying their pregnancy to term.
Also if contraceptives are so effective, how come increased contraception use has coincided with increases in the unintended pregnancy rate?

Maybe you could find some data to back up what you are stating rather than just arguing. How about you find out where Planned Parenthood came from and where it is today. See if what they said they would do originally has changed.
How about who developed the pill? I suppose the science behind the cancer link to the pill, a class I carcinogen, was also a lie. Then again, the studies linking abortion to cancer must also be a fallacy. I would imagine everything said against either abortion or the pill must have been stated by liars and cheats. When China came out with the meta-study finding the link between abortion and breast cancer, with that nations record on forced abortion, they had so much to gain by making any statement against abortions. The World Health Organization rated the pill as a class I, they were just trying to promote a conservative position, as they must be known for. Yep, the whole world must be wrong except for you.
Finally, you stated the high rate of the poorest of women getting illegal abortions or performing them on themselves, prior to the legalization of abortion, guaranteeing death or nearly perishing. That was in error. Abortion guarantees death at least for one, the child.
This is the last I have to say to you. You have produced nothing but empty statements and most of them, at best, blatantly false. Biology exposes your errors, philosophy lays them at your feet. Everything I’ve said is backed up by facts, and you can google them yourself easily . The link between abortion and cancer was debunked long ago by science .
There may some some potential adverse side effects with some contraceptive pills, but this is true with countless other pills people take for medical reasons . In fact, the risk of adverse side
effects with contraceptives are probably far less than many other pills no one objects to , ones which you may take routinely yourself for medical reasons .
Contraceptives also help women with many other medical problems which are not related to preventing conception .
What happened long ago with the founding of Planned Parenthood has nothing to do today with what this organization does .
It has no agenda of “black genocide ” and to say it does is ludicrous . The tragically high abortion rate among black women in America is the result of POVERTY ,not some imaginary sinister plot to “wipe out black people “. If the US government could descrease black poverty significantly, the abortion rate among black women would decrease greatly automatically .

Did you know smoking helps people relax in tense situations. As too much stress is a health risk, let’s make everyone pay for cigi-butts to be handed out free, though insurance plans. Tobaccare! After all, there have always been smokers and there will always be smokers. The more one outlaws smoking, the more smokers there will be.
