Pro-life vid of day: Christian college prof waffles on abortion

The guest panelists, including Seth Drayer of Created Equal, challenged his viewpoint:

Squishy Christian professor says that, if the (Methodist) Church tries to tell people that abortion is evil and works toward a world where all lives are protected, then “that is a little bit akin to playing [the role of] the Holy Spirit.”
News flash: Jesus established His Church — and the Holy Spirit manifested on Pentecost — so that Christians would become the force of the Holy Spirit in the world.
Our job is to “make disciples of all nations.” We are the Church Militant. We are not supposed to shrink from our duty to establish the justice and peace of Jesus Christ against the violence of the world.
Student is right: We need to prohibit abortion for the same reasons that we have outlawed murder, trafficking, rape, slavery, theft, etc. We need to protect the innocent from the harm that is threatened by strong and violent oppressors.
What a coward.
So, if someone walked up to this guy as he spoke stabbed him to death, the rest of us are just supposed to watch and contemplate the Holy Spirit?
The thief comes to steal, kill and destroy.
I can help him out.
He is proabortion.
