Sunday not only marked the 50th anniversary of the march on Selma, it was International Women’s Day. Many voiced their support for equal economic opportunity for women, while celebrities took to social media. This is all well and good, but as the Founding Fathers taught us, before we can truly pursue happiness, we must have guarantees to life and liberty.

While the world has been rightly scandalized by the brutal enslavement of young girls by Boko Haram, oppression of women in the most populous nation on Earth has continued unbated. Reggie Littlejohn, president of Women’s Rights Without Frontiers, seeks to “expose and oppose forced abortion, gendercide and sexual slavery in China.”
