Just to clarify, author Matthew Archbold is being facetious/sarcastic and directing his comment to Ms. Eleanor Smeal. There is a sentence that comes before the “Repeat after me” sentence that is missing here. It goes:
You keep telling yourself that Mz. Smeal.
