Pro-life vid of day: Life without limbs not so limited
35-year-old farmer Chris Koch from Alberta, Canada, was born without limbs. But that hasn’t stopped him from achieving tremendous things. An excerpt from the Calgary Herald:
Being born without limbs, Koch has accomplished more than most able-bodied folks do in a lifetime.
Growing up, he learned to golf, ski, snowboard and play the piano, along with putting in countless hours as a volunteer, efforts that in 1990 won him Alberta Junior Citizen of the Year as well as the Sidney Junior Award from the War Amputations of Canada. As an adult, he received a degree in psychology and history, continued his volunteer work with such charities as War Amps Canada and has travelled far and wide. One of those trips was a three-month solo journey through Europe where he navigated the historic sites on his skateboard.
