That PP insists that the majority of the youth are pro-choice?
The majority of today’s youth are missing, thanks to them!
See all the cuties, Erin? Marching for Life has its perks :0)
Thanks to today’s technology, namely internet, youth can find out for themselves what it’s all about. ProLife blogs forever!
The joy that these young people show is very heartwarming. They know what’s important, and they are showing the world. I love the one boy who says, matter-of -factly, “If my mom wasn’t pro-life I wouldn’t be here”, and the others who shout, “we love babies” ! God bless the children of the world!
The MSM is filled with pro-aborts, thats the problem and they’re marxist tendancies lead them to filter the news the way they want it portrayed, they pratically work for Planned partenthood. Plus, 90% of them are Democrats.
I went to the rally at my state capitol and the report on the news made it sound like there were a bunch of pro aborts out there as well. I saw three. One was a guy with a sign about sodomy and kids.
The reporter failed to report that Alveda King spoke, or that a state legislator spoke and even that the bishop of the local archdiocese spoke. If she were a sixth grade ESL student in my class for immigrant kids learning English, she would have to rewrite that report for lack of details and specifics.
Even the KC star managed to notice the main speakers at the national convention of right to life.
“One was a guy with a sign about sodomy and kids.”
Are you sure that wasn’t yllas?
Hal,
I think his point was that gays don’t need abortions so homosexual sex should be okay with the prolife folks.
The exact words on the sign were:
Sodomy is prolife
Tell your kids.
Of course even if you support access to abortion, you can figure out that sodomy can’t be prolife cuz it doesn’t produce kids, although some gays are anti abortion.
There were also two normal acting pro abortion folks with basically non offensive (homemade and hard to read small hand writing on poster board) signs supporting legal access to abortion.
The news report starts:
A prolife march meets oppostion at the capitol.
I would hardly call three people much opposition.
Watch the report yourself and notice no pro abortion groups with the usual signs.
They would have filmed them front and center had they been there.

The police stopped traffic as we marched and we held out our signs to waves from from people in the cars waiting as we marched. People at little sidewalk cafes also raised their cups of Starbucks and nodded as we passed. It was fun.
that was me

So wait, can infertile people not be pro-life? After all, they don’t produce kids.

Alexandra,
Infertility aside, the heterosexual sexual act is life giving. In its functioning state, that act might lead the the creation of live. Sodomizing another human being will never, ever lead to new life.
Anyway, the issue isn’t “only people who can produce children can be pro-life”, that’s a straw man. After all, never married teenagers are clearly pro-life in droves.
Given the liberal’s control of the media these days, did anyone REALLY expect the march to be the leading story on the news that night?
It doesn’t matter that much that the march didn’t get the coverage it deserves. There is more pro-life action going on on a daily basis nowdays than there ever has been. Pro-life values have hit the theaters, MORE young people than ever before are pro-life, the TRUTH about abortion is spreading nationwide, and people are turning against it. There is a critical shortage of doctors willing to perform abortions…the lowest it ever has been since Roe v. Wade. There are currently the lowest number of abortion clinics than since Roe was enacted.
The abortion industry has run out of lies and decpetive techniques to dupe the American public.
The pro-life movement is winning this battle.

Never-married teenagers can and often do produce children, but overall, that was my point. I think it’s absurd to define who can and can’t be pro-life based on whether or not they can or will produce children. I mean, I don’t consider only people who can or will have abortions to be really and truly pro-choice. I thought that pro-life was about valuing and protecting life, which does not necessarily mean creating it — am I incorrect?
