Kevorkian and McCain: two batty old men.
And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with his wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just: that his justice cannot sleep for ever . . . .”

The difference between spontaneous abortion and intentional abortion is the same as the difference between natural death and murder.
John,
Point well made. Isn’t the medical term for an intentional abortion an elective abortion?
I had an early miscarriage and my doctor said it would require scheduling a D&C. I remember how frightening it was to hear the phrase D&C, because the only time I’d ever heard it was in regards to abortion. He had to reassure me that this was not the same as an abortion (for obvious reasons which I won’t get into here). There should be no excuse for medical personnel to confuse the terms!

Just to clarify, I mean in terms of elective and spontaneous abortions (not D&C).
