• Americans United for Life applauds Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin, who “signed into a law a groundbreaking, pro-life measure that passed with tremendous bi-partisan support and will expand the enforcement options for any violation of state abortion laws as well as provide greater protections for young girls who become victims of sexual abuse.”

  As seen in Live Action’s undercover videos, Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry train their staff to turn a blind eye to sexual abuse and statutory rape. (“I didn’t hear the age. I don’t want to know the age.”) AUL’s Dr. Charmaine Yoest adds, “Too often, sex offenders fake a parent’s signature to use abortion as a cover up for abuse, and for too long, the abortion industry has turned a blind eye to crimes committed by evil men, as they profit from the cover up.”

HEAL (the acronym stands for Human Earth Animal Liberty) is an organization geared to a youth audience. Its main focus appears to be on teen abuse, but encourages activism on a wide range of issues, including environmentalism and animal rights. It shows a definite left of center, anti-Israel and anti-Catholic viewpoint on its Fundamental Human Rights blog. While their motto is “the right to a sustainable future is the most fundamental human right,” in fairness, they mention the right to life (though whether that refers only to the post-born is unclear).

In the latest in a series of in-depth discussion/debate videos called The Heal Report, Kelsey Hazzard, president of Secular Pro-Life, and Peggy Loonan, founder and executive director of  Life and Liberty for Women, squared off on abortion.

Pro-Life Action League representatives recently visited Albany Medical-Surgical Center, a Chicago late-term abortion facility, and presented the clinic escorts there with information that the facility has been fined $50,000 by the Illinois Department of Health and is operating under a revoked license.

Their reaction? What you’d expect. No interest in the facts. Instead, they handled the documents the same way the clinic handles preborn children.

I admit, I had trepidation about telling people…. Is it going to change the way they look at me? Are they going to treat me differently?…

There is this whole mentality that anyone who fights for the rights that we fight for must hate children and not want to parent. So to have the leader of a reproductive rights organization — an abortion rights organization — show up pregnant, it’s just jaw-dropping….
