  • American Life League’s Judie Brown says the silence of the Catholic Church on social issues, especially abortion, has led to a worldly state of mind among those who consider themselves Catholic:

… [T]he results of a recent Quinnipiac poll… show[ed] that 54 percent of Catholics believe that abortion should be legal in all or at least most cases, while 59 percent of born-again Christians oppose at least some abortion.

As Catholics have gone the way of contraception, so too have they followed the status quo on abortion. This might be shocking to some, but when we realize how little has been said about contraception and abortion from the pulpit in the past 50 years, we come to understand why Catholics are no different in their views on sexual morality than the average population of this nation.

BREAKING: Documents show NBA player coerced pregnant girlfriend to abort

2013-07-24_1145

Yesterday, MediaTakeOut.com released an abortion contract dating back to 2007 between NBA player J. J. Redick and then-girlfriend Vanessa Lopez.

I’ve had this and other documents related to that abortion for the better part of two weeks but out of concern for Vanessa wanted to make contact with her before going public.

New pro-life legislative efforts extend to local municipal level

As desperate abortion proponents employ the “run around the country like chickens with their heads cut off” strategy to try to stop unprecedented pro-life legislative advances in the states, they should know those advances are on the cusp of exponentially exploding to local municipalities.

  • Planned Parenthood is using Obamacare to expand its outreach into the Hispanic community:

Outreach efforts will particularly target Hispanic women, 38 percent of whom lack insurance coverage in Florida, according to a 2009 study by the Kaiser Family Foundation. Nearly 20 percent haven’t been screened for cervical cancer in the past three years, and nearly one-third haven’t had a mammogram in the past two years, according to Planned Parenthood.

Except Planned Parenthood doesn’t do mammograms.

  • A Connecticut man’s bail has been set at $2.5 million after he was accused of hiring a friend to kill his pregnant girlfriend. Carlton Bryan allegedly wanted Shamari Jenkins dead because she wouldn’t have an abortion:

Calling the crime “egregious,” prosecutor Cathryn J. Krinitsky told the judge that Bryan asked a friend to shoot his girlfriend because “the girlfriend has previously decided to have an abortion but decided not to.”

According to the warrant for Bryan’s arrest, he “begged” Hall-Davis to shoot Jenkins, 20. She was shot in the chest April 29 as she sat behind the wheel of her Honda Accord, with Bryan in the front passenger seat, in front of 137 Magnolia St. in the city’s North End.

“Carlton Bryan did not want to have the baby with Shamari Jenkins,” Hall-Davis told police. “Carlton Bryan said Shamari initially agreed to have an abortion but changed her mind and she was now four months pregnant.”

Hall-Davis also told police that Bryan “wanted to stay with… his other girlfriend,” the warrant states.

Forced miscarriage victim mourns loss; denies abortion similarities

In my opinion, this is not an abortion issue…. [Remee Lee] was poisoned. Her life was put in jeopardy. My life was put in jeopardy. This man took something from me. He killed a life growing inside me that had a heartbeat. This is not abortion. This is murder. ~ Caylinn Young of Oklahoma (pictured […]
