Anne Hathaway lost role due to issue with “graphic” birthing scene

by Carder Anne Hathaway was originally cast as Alison Scott, a reporter who ends up getting pregnant after a one night stand with Ben Stone, played by Seth Rogen. Anne took issue with the birthing scene at the end of the movie, arguing that it was too graphic. In the end, Judd Apatow had no […]

Pro-abortion film “Obvious Child” tanks at box office

pro-abortion filmThe abortion industry did its best to pitch the movie Obvious Child as an “unapologetic” but “hilarious” romantic comedy about abortion, even as the director and star eschewed such a depiction. See headlines right.

Unlike the lead characters in Juno and Knocked Up, Donna chooses to abort her baby. The abortion, the crux but not focus of the […]

I’m sure October Baby producers loved that headline, which sandwiched their little pro-life movie between one of the top box office draws of all time and the sequel to another box office smash.

Here’s another one for their scrapbook…

Pro-choice cartoon series mocks pregnancy care centers

I have a new long piece at Cartoon Movement about faith-based crisis pregnancy centers in the Bay Area. I visited a bunch of them over the last couple months pretending to be naive and knocked-up. ~ Graphic journalist Susie Cagle, introducing her 18-slide cartoon depiction of pro-life crisis pregnancy centers in San Francisco, This Is […]
