Stanek Sunday funnies: “VA Memorial Day, Part I” edition

Happy Memorial Day weekend! How fitting that the Veterans Administration scandal should break as we honor those who have fallen for our country, not just in war, as it turns out, but in waiting lines for healthcare at the VA.

It seemed to me as many, if not more, liberal comics piled on this week as conservatives, leaving many zingers to choose from. I’ve split them into two posts, six each. View Part II here. Please be sure to vote for your fav in the poll at the bottom of each post.

The men who put on the uniform did not do so […]

New Stanek poll: What’s your attitude toward the 2010 elections?

I have a special Memorial Day poll question up (bottom right side of home page): How would you describe your attitude toward the 2010 elections? Regarding last week’s question, by a 3:1 margin you thought President Obama should have commemorated our fallen soldiers on Memorial Day by attending services at Arlington National Cemetery…

Abortionist’s wife gone wild – with lawnmower

How do you spend your holidays? Members of an IN pro-life activist group called Intercessors for Life spend theirs picketing the Noblesville, IN, home of abortionist Michael S. King, who slices and dices at 3 Planned Parenthood mills in Indianapolis. View video here of their November 26, 2009 picket. Word to the wise: a lawnmower […]
