  • Canadian abortionist Wee Lim Sim has agreed to stop practicing after his “cluttered and unhygienic” clinic endangered patients:

He agreed to resign from the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons, and never re-apply, after admitting to professional misconduct. The committee went on to “roundly condemn” his ineffective infection control, improper delegation to his staff, poor record keeping, and rude, aggressive style of communication. Sim’s only response to the reprimand was “Thank you sir.” Outside the hearing room, however, he was flippant and dismissive of the misconduct to which he had just admitted.

Here’s more background and a picture of Sim in his obviously cluttered clinic.

  • At Women’s Rights without Frontiers, Reggie Littlejohn shines a light on another problem in China – baby trafficking. 37 babies were recently rescued from a baby-selling ring:

According to CNN, human traffickers were recruiting pregnant women in the area willing to sell their babies and hid them in the factory until they gave birth. Then, after the women had their babies, they gave the newborns over to the traffickers and left.

A Chinese police official, Chen Shiqu, said that the incident is a “new criminal pattern” in which child traffickers take pregnant women to a specific place to give birth. Currently, police have 103 people in custody who are suspected of selling or buying children.

Cosmo girls: “We hook up, then next day take Plan B together”

She sees social butterflying as part of her job. “That’s where I get my ideas. I don’t get my ideas from reading other people,” she says. “I talked to the daughter of a friend of mine the other day who is at an Ivy League college. And I said, ‘Tell me about life and what’s […]

Why abortion industry won’t push FDA to change RU-486 protocol

RU-486 abortion pill, take only as approved by FDAThe abortion cartel has reacted to a new genre of pro-life laws, which force abortion clinics to administer RU-486 per FDA protocol, in a way that makes no sense.

Four states – Arizona, North Dakota, Ohio, and Oklahoma – have now passed a version of this law, and the abortion lobby has responded by taking the more difficult path - suing to block the statute.

In terms of PR, this is an uphill battle. Abortion proponents are trying to justify giving RU-486 off-label by framing the FDA as incompetent. Quoting Tulsa World, October 1:

Stanek wkend Q: Should pro-lifers disqualify Rand Paul as presidential pick over Plan B support?

Rand Paul Plan B abortionFrom CNN, September 30:

“If life starts at conception, should medicine that prevents conception like Plan B be legal?,” a woman asked him during a question-and-answer session here.

Paul at first gave a terse answer: “I am not opposed to birth control,” he said.

  • The Catholic View for Women says “CNN is reporting that, according to a study published in the journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system (LNG-IUS) or progesterone-releasing IUD, may be associated with a higher than expected incidence of breast cancer.” The jury still appears to be out on this one, but CVW wonders if women will be given this information of potential risk:

What caught my eye, though, is that levonorgestrel, a hormone that regulates ovulation, is also the used in the Plan B contraceptive, better known as the morning after pill. Millions of American women are now going to receive the IUD and Plan B free, thanks to Obamacare, and most of them will have no idea they could be increasing their risk of breast cancer.

Is it possible that most women are unaware of the health risks associated with hormonal contraception in general?

Left’s anger over Hobby Lobby not about access to medicine

by Kelli

Again, Hobby Lobby’s health plan pays for birth-control pills, vaginal rings, contraceptive patches, and other items to help female employees plan their pregnancies. The Left’s arguments to the contrary are — surprise, surprise — lies.

What Hobby Lobby will not cover are four contraceptive methods that its owners fear are abortifacients:
