Chris Matthews: Pro-lifers opposing Sebelius are “terrorists… verbal terrorists”
I previously referred to Chris Matthews’ appalling reference last night on Hardball to pro-lifers opposing the Sebelius nomination for HHS Secretary as “terrorists… verbal terrorists.” But Matthews’ remark deserves its own spot in the sun.

On Monday night’s Hardball, Chris Matthews feared KS Governor Kathleen Sebelius, in her nomination fight to head HHS, would be a target of “the terrorism of the, of the anti-abortion people.” Then perhaps realizing he called all pro-lifers terrorists, Matthews feebly attempted to amend the statement, as he tried to clarify, “I mean verbal terrorism.”
The following exchange was aired during the March 2, edition of Hardball:
Matthews: Let’s talk about, let’s get to something really tough.
Jonathan Martin, Politico: Sure.
Matthews: Kathleen Sebelius, very likeable, very impressive. I think of the woman who becomes the governor in Mr. Holland’s Opus, remember the one who comes back?
Lois Romano, Washington Post: Right.
Matthews: Who becomes the governor, the woman governor. She looks like her, in fact. Is she gonna get through the, the terrorism of the, of the anti-abortion people?
Romano: Yeah I think she’s gonna do that and I think they’ve got a clear shot.
Matthews: I mean verbal terrorism.
Romano: Yeah they’re, she’ll get through that.
Martin: I think she will, for one important reason. Sam Brownback, her home state senator, an ardent Catholic pro-lifer, Chris, has said kind things about her, signaling that he will not stand in her way. So if that’s any, sort of indication I think that bodes well for Sebelius.
Matthews: But are we gonna have days and days of hearings about what she did about this guy who was a late-term abortion doctor?
Martin: I’m sure it’ll come up.
Jill Stanek is a nurse turned speaker, columnist and blogger, a national figure in the effort to protect both preborn and postborn innocent human life.
Palpable fear on Matthews’ part. Where’s his tingle now?
Seblius is a disgrace.

Sebelius has traded her soul for power and prestige, always a losing transaction.
What amazes me is how these so-called wise and intelligent people could make such stupid decsions regarding their own souls.
If I was a woman I think I’d challenge Chris Matthews to a duel.

What you fail to understand is Pontius Pilate saw the world from the powerful view of a Roman Prefect who had the might of Roman Legions behind him. First I watched the video where “Lucky” got flushed, then I watched Chris Mathews, whose show should be flushed….
Anti-choice laws are like Sharia Law. Sure its fine if its only applied to Muslims who hold to it, but for the rest of us it doesnt’ make sense. Likewise, sure if you want to have a personal law against abortion, more power to ya, but for the rest of us who don’t hold to the cosmology that a fetilized egg is human it makes no sense.

I’d love to see some science that backs this statement up. Science, not philosophy BTW. In the meantime, here’s some science which shows that that statement is completely incorrect.

I was going to correct you yet again on this, but I see Mr. Bambino has already taken the liberty of providing the science that demonstrates that you’re a dolt.
So Matthews thinks its “terrorism” to oppose a radical pro abort, but its not terrorism for the innocent unborn to be ripped apart in their mother’s womb or left to die if they happen to survive the abortion?
Hasn’t Sebelius friend Tiller admitted to aborting babies that were at full term? And hasnt Tiller given a lot of money to Sebelius campaigns? In fact I think PP has as well.

On some of the message boards which I frequent, Sibelius is being ripped for her association with Tiller and her flaunting of the Church’s commandments. So it is not just the pro-lifers who are upset with her.
One thing I heard on one of those boards is that her son invented a game called ‘Prison Rape’ or something of that nature. Does anyone know anything about this?
