Those who stand for life as a foundational human right are completely for defending bodily autonomy. No other choice is possible if someone were to take your life. But that’s not what you mean – is it?
Your argument is invalid if you must hide behind the tired, old rhetoric of “choice”. Please explain what “choice” means, without using dodgy, sketchy word games.

When people learn the truth about abortion from factual scientific sources, and hear from those who experienced pain and suffering from their abortions, they usually become pro-life – unless they are making money from the abortion industry, or have a vested interest in keeping others in torment.

Just a little funny for you: I clicked on the “abortion gang” link under the quote and the tab appeared which read, “an intro to the pro choice Twit..” There’s no telling where the truth might appear next!
What about unborn babies’ bodily autonomy? We SHOULD feel ashamed about abortion. Not just women–ALL of us. It is a horrible, horrible thing.
What better way to express the belief that bodily autonomy is a basic human right than to forcibly rip someone’s body limb from limb?
Gee,, since the choice is life or death, and not vanilla or chocholate, I do believe that the majority still sides with life. And I would hope the choice of death for the innocent would scare and cause shame to someone.

Chris, you’re so right. The abortion business is all about making money. The pro-choicer/aborts say it’s about “helping women” but there are too many negatives associated with abortion for that to be true.

What used to be crazy behavior when I was a child actually looks quite sane in comparison to this.
As a former pro-abort, I know what they believe. I know what their arguments are, and their justifications. I know what they tell themselves, and I know what they refuse to admit. The truth is, abortion is the violent killing of an innocent person who has the right to live. It was a hard truth for me to face, but it was necessary to face it. In this age, with the scientific knowledge and the advancements in technology, there is absolutely no excuse for abortion. To deny that it is killing another person is a bold-faced lie. To deny that the unborn are persons is also a bold-faced lie. At this point in my life, abortion is the most disgraceful and inexcusable act in human history. Perhaps in the past, we could chalk it up to scientific ignorance, but now it’s just psychopathic. The dehumanization of the unborn (except those “wanted” babies, which are “babies” and not just “fetuses”), the legalization of their murder….there is nothing more evil and more grotesque.
I know what a crisis pregnancy looks like; I know what desperation feels like. I also know that abortion doesn’t solve anything; but it destroys everything….not only the little child, but the father’s responsibility, the mother’s responsibility, and, whether these women want to admit it or not, it destroys their self-esteem, their self-worth, their womanhood, and their ability to reason. Any person (especially any woman, and most especially any woman who is a mother) who not only condones but celebrates abortion is toeing a dangerous, dangerous line. There is a serious disconnect. How can I trust anyone to treat me with respect, to treat anyone with respect and love, if they cannot view their own children as valuable and lovable?
I will honestly say that I am alarmed with the increasing momentum of and networking among pro-choice Twitters and blogs. This is area we need to improve and catch up in.
