This is just one reason I’m so passionate about getting you re-elected this year. We need a President who will stand up for women’s health and stay focused on jobs and economic recovery. The dreams of all our daughters are at stake. And they’re counting on us to fight for them.

“I love you but I don’t like you all the time.”
How cute is that?
On those really rough days, I bet the feeling is mutual.
Ooooooh. Those cheeks. Give me those cheeks!!
Janet,
Yes. I do believe the feeling is mutual sometimes.
Love this, reminds me of my kids at this age.
I received some very wise advice from some older moms when my kids were this age, who said “God did not call you to be this child’s buddy or friend at this stage in his life (they will have plenty of friends), He called you to be his parent, his mother.”
You do have to be strong to be a parent, parenting is not for wimps but the rewards are awesome. Now I am so proud to say, my children are my friends. Being a mother is one of the most fulfilling and rewarding parts of my life. I love being a mom, it is a divine gift, to be able to bring new life into this world.
Prolifer L, I totally agree.
Those older moms had some great advice, too. And yes, there are times when we may not like each other, but we’re still a family, and we love each other.
I love the things kids say! He was a cutie! My son says those funny little things. This past spring when we toured a pre-school he thought he would be able to stay all day but when I told him he wasn’t going to school till the fall he wailed down the school hallway “You’re ruining my life!!!!!” Sometimes I think our kids tell us these things just to prepare us for the teen years.
