Lunch Break: Susan Boyle’s dreams come true
To give us a break from the daily grind…
Congratulations to Susan Boyle, as she continues to enchant millions of people with her voice.
Susan’s life-long dream came true yesterday as she sang for the Pope:
Susan sings a duet with her musical idol, Elaine Paige:
Finally, Susan sings “Wild Horses,” my favorite song of hers:

Ohhhhh I looooove that Hymn….
I must admit to being a little disappointed in her voice for this song. But I’m so happy that she was able to sing for Pope Benedict! God bless her and God keep our pope safe.
angel,
It sounds like Susan has a bit of a cold, but she still was lovely. It was a dream of a lifetime to sing for the Pope. How wonderful for her!
If only she’d have sung “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” she would’ve won “Britain’s Got Talent” instead of that street dance group.
Then again, maybe not. Apparently thirteen-year old girls are multi-voting far more than anyone else. Witness “America’s Got Talent”. For the second year in a row a scruffy-looking, average male singer wins over a highly talented girl singer.
Also, Jackie Evanko, being ten, must have reminded them of their annoying little sister.
Oh well. Talent will out. Just not on these shows, I fear.
