Unphased by more than 2,000 lawsuits alleging its contraceptive Yaz causes lethal blood clots, Bayer has launched a new version of the pill – Beyaz – which includes a Vitamin B/folic acid supplement.
The purpose of the folate supplement is to reduce the risk of neural tube defects such as spina bifida and anencephaly in babies in case you do get pregnant despite using the pill.
It’s literally a pill for when the pill doesn’t work.

I think this is great! The underlying assumption here is “If I do get pregnant, I will make sure my child is healthy.” That’s not compatible with an abortion mentality.
Yet the pill can still thin your uterus so that you miscarry. This chills my blood because I was on Yaz when I conceived my little boy. Fortunately I found out before my period was even due that I was pregnant so that there were no long term effects. But the thought that I could have killed him by ingesting this poison broke my heart into a million pieces. To this day I look into his beautiful blue eyes and kiss his chubby cheeks and wonder how many of his brothers and sisters aren’t here because of all those years I took the pill, had sex with my husband and just didn’t know???? I didn’t know! But it haunts me to this day. Never again will I ingest that wretched sexist poison. If men want to take synthetic hormones so be it, but I never will again.
I’m wondering how many women who don’t want to get pregnant will actually go for a pill that says, “If it fails, then at least your baby has a chance of being healthy.”
The intent of contraception is to NOT become pregnant. It just seems like a weird thing, to say, “Hey, we know this product FAILED. But please don’t abort, because we’ve made sure to pump this artificial hormone with some extra stuff to ensure a healthy little baby!”
Aren’t we continually told that the Pill hardly EVER fails? And how on earth is this Pill supposed to work, if the endometrial lining is actually made inhospitable for new life? The intent of the Pill is to prevent conception and if that fails, to starve/flush out that new life.
This is one heck of a mixed message…
The pill still creates a hostile environment for a newly conceived baby IF breakthrough ovulation was to occur. A vitamin supplement won’t do ANYTHING.

Yeah, a lot of women don’t know, which is the sad part. You and your husband can learn a method of Natural Family Planning (NFP) which doesn’t incorporate any of those powerful synthetic hormones that aren’t made to work with the body, but rather only to do what they’re engineered to do.
And that’s a beautiful image you kissing your son’s chubby cheeks :-)
