Lunch Break: American Idol’s Chris Medina not in top 24
Hearts broke all over the U.S. when the fate of AI contestant Chris Medina was learned.
As you may remember, we featured Chris last month during his first audition.
Jennifer Lopez took his elimination very hard. She is a kinder individual than I first thought due to all the “diva” comments made about her. The judge panel is definitely more sympathetic than in past years.

I was sorry to see him go, but also so glad that the judges showed this man and his commitment to his girlfriend such respect. To me Chris is a real American Idol.
I’m also very pleased with the show this year. Jennifer & Steven are great, they are very human on the show and seem to be enjoying it. I was a Simon fan, but now I like the more positive tone of the show.
J Lo is being way too hard on herself. She had a tough job to do in letting Chris go and she was very classy. Chris is great. I wish him all the best. I like this season soooo much better than the others. Just goes to show, you don’t have to be nasty like Simon to capture an audience. Steven Tyler seems like a nice guy too. I’d love to see Susan Boyle do a guest spot on the show. How cool would that be?
