Quote of the Day 2-23-11
But at that moment of pulling her out and I just tore that thing [gown] off. There’s a room full of people that I don’t know. Nurses and doctors. And she and I just laid there. It was the best thing that’s ever happened to me.

Holding your baby in your arms for the very first time is indeed a moment that cannot be compared to anything in this world.
My heart aches for those who never got to experience that moment all because of a lie they believed that killing their baby would be so much better.
Precious. Beautiful. God bless Christina and Sadie.
Wow!
Completely impossible for the male of our species to comprehend.
We just have to stand there, stunned speechlessin awsome wonder.
I remember my labor. Can’t wait to experience that agony and ecstasy again. It is truly a MIRACLE. Stories like this just reaffirm the wonder and love that birth brings.
They put a mirror in front of my bed while I pushed. I was in intense pain and concentration but I remember thinking “I cannot believe I am seeing this!” as my son emerged.I was in awe! You think you know your body but its like a whole new level of appreciation for how God made you when you see your own little child emerge from your body. Every mom has her own emotional memories of birth. It is one of the greatest experiences of life.
Ken,
You took the words right out of my mouth, brother!
Gorgeous baby. Congrats.
