Quote of the Day 2-4-11
The realization of this man having been adopted and instead of being aborted, that he was born and thus able to create, think, express himself and participate in being an American citizen weighed heavy on my heart. I fell asleep wondering what would happen with the Planned Parenthood scandal the following morning.
~Brandon Darby, commenting on his conversation with new media publisher Andrew Breitbart (pictured), Big Government, February 3

Sorry, Andrew Breitbart is about the last guy I’d use as an argument against abortion.
His four young children would disagree with you, Joan.
I think stories of people who’s parents chose adoption are very powerful because it’s a much clearer picture of, wow, this person could have never existed! Thinking about all of the murdered babies makes the world feel a bit empty for me.
The article is a very good read, with insight from a leading expert and activist in human trafficking after she viewed the PP tapes.
@joan, what a horrible thing to say about another human being. As repugnant as your views on murdering children are, no one would here would suggest your life would have been better ended in an abortion.
Yes Klynn73 – I would agree. Joan – of course we want you alive and kicking – and we are hoping that you want that for all other humans too. Here’s hoping that you will use your energy and zest for the GOOD and not for EVIL. Too many hearts, minds and lives depend on it.
Try love on – it fits all sizes and helps in all situations.
Joan,
His choices do not lessen his value. I am grateful that you were born, that Obama was born, and yes, that Breitbart was born. We all play a part.
I agree with the others, Joan. I’d rather argue with you daily than have lost you in utero years ago. What kind of boring, awful world would it be, populated by a small group of people who all agree in everything?
After abortion is ended, we can clean up the other things in life. I’d like to learn some new dance moves and end the use of fossil fuels. Would that be so bad?
Good grief, Joan. What a callous remark.
Google news is “spotlighting” Media Matters’ story about the Planned Parenthood scandal being a “hoax” and the story is three days old. It’s NOT a hoax. Duh. Who’s compiling Google’s news page?
I’m not a fan of Breitbart either, but it’s interesting that he was adopted.
@phillymiss–Hey neighbor!! I too was unaware of that, on both points actually.
Joan said: “Sorry, Andrew Breitbart is about the last guy I’d use as an argument against abortion.”
Sorry, could you clarify that remark? It sounds like you’re saying that it’s a shame that Andrew Breitbart wasn’t aborted. Surely that’s not what you meant, so I would like you to explain the meaning of those words, please.
Thank you joan, for showcasing the demented minds of people who support the killing of other humans in utero (many times their own children). At this point, I’m not surprised by anything anymore. I’ve even been told my own daughter should’ve been killed in utero rather than having a father that didn’t want her to be born. Sick, disgusting individuals proaborts are. I’m all out of sympathy and compassion for these beasts. I just feel so sorry for their poor children.
