Lunch Break: Tony Bennett interview and release of “Duets II”
by LauraLoo
Musical performers don’t get much better than the classy and legendary Tony Bennett. Recently turning 85 years young, Tony gave an excellent 15-minute interview on the Roe & Roeper Show on WLS.
Tony also discussed his upcoming Duets II CD which will be released next month but is already #15 on the charts (pre-sale). Tony collaborated with many younger and newer contemporary singers, including the late Amy Winehouse, who Tony said was his favorite.

I will be doing a follow-up post on Tony Bennett after his CD launches so stay tuned for more Tony next month!
Finally, I heard an update this morning on WLS that the cause of Amy’s death is still unknown but while they found alcohol in her system they found no drugs.

I had the chance to see him at a fundraiser for St. Joseph’s University, my husband’s alma mater, some time ago. He was excellent!
Oh St. Joe’s, great! I’m collaborating with a prof there. Your husband happen to take any math courses there within the last 15 years or so?
I’m. sorry. to hear that Amy. died but I’m not surprised. may she RIP
Tony Bennett is a legend!
No less than Frank Sinatra said he was the best all-around singer. (He said Vic Damone had the best voice. My Dad sang with Damone on the Rainbow Room radio show on WOR.)
Tony Bennett is a big time pro-abort. He may be a good entertainer but he badly needs to go to confession.
