Yahoo hires pregnant CEO

I like to stay in the rhythm of things. My maternity leave will be a few weeks long and I’ll work throughout it. ~ Newly-hired Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer (pictured right with husband Zach Bogue), commenting on the news that she is six-months pregnant with a baby boy, as quoted by MSNBC’s Market Day, July […]

Pro-life video of the day: Never-ending gang violence in Chicago

by LauraLoo I’d like to share something weighing heavy on my heart. I cannot get used to hearing about gang violence resulting in daily injuries or murders in Chicago.  Just several days ago this particular murder occurred.  Three teens allegedly were playing a game called “pick ’em out and knock ’em out” when Malik Jones punched Delfino Mora, 62, in his jaw, sending Mora to the […]

Rick Santorum: Romney must pick a pro-life VP

For the Republican Party to nominate someone who is pro-choice would be as much of a problem for the Democrats to nominate someone who is pro-life. ~ Former Republican primary presidential candidate Rick Santorum describing the difficulty that presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney would face should he select a pro-choice Vice Presidential running mate, […]

Pro-life news brief 7-17-12

by JivinJ, host of the blog, JivinJehoshaphat

  • Virginia’s attorney general Ken Cuccinelli has refused to agree to a Board of Health plan which would allow abortion clinics to avoid meeting new abortion clinic regulations:

In a four-sentence letter to the health department, senior assistant Attorney General Allyson K. Tysinger said that the the office would not certify the regulations.

“The Board does not have the statutory authority to adopt these Regulations,” it says. “[T]he Board has exceeded its authority. Thus, this Office cannot certify these Regulations.”

The action by the attorney general’s office is not the final word on the subject. The regulations, which would require extensive renovations, will continue to go through executive branch review. The attorney general’s office was only the first step in that process.

  • Live Action notes yet another scandal in the abortion industry – this time from the UK’s National Health Service:

Breaking news from England has found… doctors caught forging abortion consent forms – before they ever even saw any patients. When investigators mounted a series of raids on abortion clinics, they found doctors routinely pre-signing consent forms, with nurses filling in the patient information later….

All in all, 14 hospitals have been censured due to these illegal abortions.

What does this tell us about the attitude of the abortion industry? Both in the U.K. and here in the United States, there is an overwhelming prevalence of extreme disregard for the law. The abortion industry will blatantly break the law time and time again in order to profit off their gruesome business.

Obama administration’s harassment of pro-lifers gets personal

On July 13 FBI agents Conrad Rodriguez and William Sivley paid a visit to my son-in-law, Andy Moore, at his home.

Andy is a pro-life activist who prays and protests outside the Southwest Women’s Surgery Center abortion mill in Dallas, where late-term abortionist Curtis Boyd freely acknowledges he “kill[s]” children.

Agents Rodriguez and Sivley told Andy three red flags prompted their visit:

Abortion proponents’ Jedi mind tricks: It’s “development prevention,” not abortion

… Imagine that you want to buy a horse. You pay for a horse, and what is delivered to you is a fertilized horse egg. You would probably feel cheated. You can’t ride or race a fertilized horse egg. It isn’t a horse. Even in Texas. You need a mare and a lot of development. A single cell isn’t a horse, a cluster of undifferentiated cells (technically, a “blastocyst”) isn’t a horse, a cluster of differentiated cells isn’t a horse, a horse embryo isn’t a horse, and a horse fetus isn’t a horse. You would feel cheated if you were sold any of them….
