Pro-life video of the day: Interview with vagina-clad Code Pink member

Planned Parenthood held a “Women Are Watching” rally at the Republican National Convention in Tampa. Also on hand was an Operation Rescue Truth Truck with VOTE PRO-LIFE signs by Created Equal, members of whom distributed literature and spoke with supporters of the rally.
Here’s an interview with someone from Code Pink, who somehow thinks talking frankly about women’s genitalia in public will further the pro-choice cause.

The delegates extended an invitation to Warren to appear at their caucus meeting tomorrow, just before she is slated to give a prime-time address on the convention stage.
Harlyn Geronimo, the great-grandson of the legendary Apache warrior, said he didn’t know the details of Warren’s claims but wanted to make sure she didn’t try to “take advantage” of her Cherokee claims.
Geronimo’s wife, Karen, also an Apache from New Mexico, said she and other Indians carry an ID card as proof of their heritage, and believes every person claiming American Indian heritage should do the same.

The video at Created Equal’s website shows a woman walking alongside the Truth Truck and holding up a “KEEP ABORTION LEGAL” sign. I can’t think of a more useless, ineffective time to do that.
If her comarades are that clueless, it’s only a matter of time.

You REALLY need to take 6th grade vocabulary again.
1. They’re dressed as vulvas, not as vaginas. This is one of my pet peeves with leftists, who supposedly are so in love with the female genitalia but can’t even get their terminology straight.
2. “Womena are watching” ??? There are no eyes in that part of the body. Unless you’re in a Stephen King novel, perhaps.
3. They’re just reinforcing the claim I’ve been making for about 20 years now — that the abortion advocacy movement sees women as just life support systems for their genitalia.
4. Honey, we’re not *treating* you as “Other.” If you’re walking around dressed as genitalia, you most certainly ARE Other. Normal people don’t do that sort of thing.
5. Those costumes look more like intestines than genitals anyway.

i don’t care if people choose to use the word ‘vagina’ in a conversation if it is germaine to the discussion.
The Michigan legislators appear to have overreacted, absent any standing rule which specifically forbid the use of said word.
I draw the line at feminine hygiene products.
It’s just one of those guy things.
the manner in which the gentlelady from Michigan used the word would be akin to telling her opponents to ‘kiss my obama’.
it was an ‘in your face’ verbal gesture.
that alone may have been a breach of decorum.
In response: my only interest in the gentle ladies genitalia is in preventng it from becoming a ‘crime scene’ in a murder investigation.
Shouldn’t we be emphasizing what we have in common as human beings — our minds?
We should also emphasize the mind because it is what distinguishes us a humans.
It seems grotesque that freedom and power for women relies on a morally troubling and grisly operation.
