Are you absolutely kidding me? I’ve known and followed Janet for years. And I must say this is really disheartening but not surprising. It is just further proof that most Christians who are politically active and conservative and consider themselves patriotic have allowed that patrotism to devolve into idolatry. The idolatry of worshiping the Constitution….the idolatry of worshiping the idea of freedom….the idolatry of patriotism itself. Mitt Romney is a serial liar and flip flopper. He was pro-choice as governor of Massachusetts but now he is not…..he was pro-gun control (a “FREEDOM” issue) now he is silent on the issue. He says he is anti-gay marriage but allowed civil unions and health and benefit rights for gays in Massachussetts. Last night he stated he would not add to the deficit and the debt….yet he said he would not cut the military, Medicare, Medicaid or Social Security…..alll of which is where all our money goes down the rat hole of crushing debt. He says he stands with Israel but mark my words he will do nothing in recognizing Jerusalem as the once, eternal and undivided capital of Israel and also move the American embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem like George W. promised but also lied and never did do it. And I don’t know what Bible Janet reads but all the 7 translations I have all say the same thing about adding and or subtracting to God’s Word. Deuteronomy 4:2 “You shall not add to the word which I command you.” Psalms 119:160 “The entirety of your Word is truth. Proverbs 30:6 “Add thou not unto His words, lest He reprove thee, and thou be found a liar” Revelation 22:18-19 “I warn everyone who hears the words of this prophecy of this book. If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues describe in this book. And if anyone takes words aways from the book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city.” The very fact the Romney is a Mormon and follows its teachings from an extra Biblical book which violates every warning God gave in both the Old and New Testament AND continues to allow his wife and children to be led astray as well….how can any Christian possbily believe that God will bless and restore to America all the things Janet mentioned in her video she believes will be restored by a Romney/Ryan administration is beyond me. This is why I believe she has fallen into idolatry…..and worst of all…..her fear that if she doesn’t do something then America is doomed….even if it means compromising her Christian principles AND telling God to his face….your warnings are invalid when it comes to Mitt Romney….is also proof she cares more for her idolatry of American rather than the Holy and True Word of God. It also shows that she and millions of other Christians are looking to a man….in fact a high ranking member of a cult….to solve America’s ills….when it is actually REPENTENCE….by Janet and all of us….that is really needed. Without that….and the realization that we are members of a Kingdom that is yet to be manifest….and servants of a King….not members of a democracy beholden to a Congress and a President, we will continue to see the decline and fall of America no matter who we vote into office.

Nice try Hans. But you must know that Mormons believe that God is made of flesh and bone. That he had a wife (goddess) on his home world and that he had children with his wife which includes both Jesus and Satan. You must also know that they believe that although Jesus died on the cross, he was married and had children and that his death on the cross is not enough for atonement….you must also follow the dictates of the Mormon church. This is just a small example of the apostasy and lies that Mormons teach and hold to be true. Let me also throw some scripture back at you…..in my opinion some of the scariest words in all the bible…..and also as a caution to taking scripture out of context to satisfy a politcal desire……Matthew 7:22-23
22 On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’ 23 But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’
Please reread the passages in my first post….you will see that throughout time….in the Old and the New Testament….God was ADAMANT to not add to nor subtract from his Holy Word. It is in effect a law. The Book of Mormon states that it is “Another Gospel of Jesus Christ”. Joesph Smith revealed a false revelation and all Mormons today….including Mitt Romney follow a false prophet, and are explicitly disobeying God. And if you vote for him you give your stamp of approval to a man who not only directly disobeys God and states that the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross was not enough, but leads his family down the path to eternal damnation. And you think God will bless you and America if you actively make that happen on election day?
Also…to Janet’s point about the loss of freedom…and using that guy who made that silly, amateur, expose of Mohammed. I understand that his incarceration is a fishing expedition ( he was NOT arrested for his film but because of a probation violation for writing bad checks….real Christina like….hmmmm ?). However….Janet….did you ever read this passage from Paul’s letter to the Church in Corinth?
1 Corinthians 10: 32-33
32 Don’t give offense to Jews or Gentiles[a] or the church of God. 33 I, too, try to please everyone in everything I do. I don’t just do what is best for me; I do what is best for others so that many may be saved.
The guy who made that film is a Coptic Christian. Did his film advance the cause of Christ? Did it bring anyone to a saving knowledge of Jesus? Does your defense of this guy also do the same?
I’m sorry Janet….everyting about your video change of heart….reeks of desperation. The desperation of trying to justify your flip flop over Romney. It shows you have no convictions other than the conviction that anybody but Obama will save America. It also shows how little faith you have in God. If God wants to save America….He will do it. If He wants to destroy it….He will do that too. And there is nothing you can do to stop it in a voting booth.
However….I know that God would be most pleased that rather than voting for a cult member whose beliefs are in direct violation to God’s and Jesus’s teachings you simply fell on your knees and asked God’s forgivness for the idolatry in your heart over America and pray that He bring out the faithful remnant from her. And did you ever stopped to think that God put Obama in the presidency to bring America down simply to break our hearts enough that we did just that….that we begged for forgiveness for our own sins instead of cursing Obama’s so much that we compound the error by voting in a cult member?
It appears Janet has come to her senses. Glad to have you on board, Janet. I think she really nailed it on the life issue. Barack Obama, in any other time and place in the so-called civiliized world would be ridiculed and lambasted for his stand on allowing infants to die unattended and untreated, and the same for his stand in favor of partial-birth abortion. Such an attitude is truly extreme and sick.
Janet did well in choosing the top five reasons, but if we didn’t limit ourselves there are probably 55 reasons Obama should not be given another four years.
Danny you need to take a deep breath and slowly walk away from your computer. You can rant and preach forever about Mormons and Mitt Romney all you want but it will NOT change anything. There are only 2 men running for the President of the United States of America. One bows and worships at the altar of PP, NARAL, LGBTQ, Emily’s List, and is the most radical pro-abort, pro-infanticide, anti-Bibliical marriage, anti-Israel, anti-religious freedom zealot to ever hold the office. We are NOT electing a Pastor of the United States of America, or a Christian-in-Chief but a President of the United States. If you cannot vote for either that is your perogative, I think it is foolish not to vote for the lesser of 2 evils but it is your decision. I am a committed Christian who would have preferred a commited Christian like myself (my preference last year was Mike Huckabee) but it did not happen. I voted for Rick Santorum in the primary because I wanted that to happen. He is NOT on the ballot. Deal with reality. pray for God to reveal Jesus Christ to Mitt Romney, if he gets in office. If he becomes a turncoat we can work to kick him out in 4 years. But the man who is in office right now is hell-bent on destroying unborn babies, God-ordained marriage, religious liberty and the entire foundation of this country.
Danny, glad to hear you’re a stickler for keeping God’s laws. I take it you’re a Sabbatarian then.
Danny, as a Catholic I could just as easily say that anyone who does not respect the Church founded by Christ on Peter the first Pope, or who does not believe in apostolic succession, or who does not honor the Blessed Virgin, or who does not acknowledge the communion of saints, or who does not believe in the resurrection of the body, or who does not seek graces though the seven Sacraments, is a heretic/schismatic/apostate who is unworthy of my support. But since this is 2012 AD, not 1512 AD, I’m not going to do that.
Romney is running for president, not for pope. I don’t agree with his theology at all, though I do find it to be less abhorrent than Obama’s liberation theology. I believe he is a good man who has done good things, and that he would be fine as the next temporary steward of the American presidency.

First of all….thanks for the replies…..seriously…no snark.
Second…I understand completely that I…we…are not voting for pastor in chief or a secular version of a Pope. However….God has sovereignty over all….including the choices of leaders He puts in front of us.
Has it ever occured to each of you…..that if America is such the “blessed” nation we have all been taught it is….even so far as some claiming and believing it is the “shining City on the Hill” or in other words….”The New Jerusalem”…..that God would not test us…like he did in the Old Testament days….when the People needed structure and God gave Moses the law. Or when the people said they wanted to be a great nation and God gave them Judges and Kings….to test the People to see if they would uphold the law…or if they would stand up to the tyranny of the evil kings who would replace good Kings from time to time. God did this to test his people…to see if they would remain faithful….to honor what God had done for them….and to break them when they needed to be broken and even taken over by hostile nations until that evil generation of people would long dead in the sand…..their bones bleached white by the sun and time.
Mhy point is…..we have had more Republican presidents for nearly 50 years than Democrat. We have had at times a Republican controlled House and at times both the House and the Senate (as it was with George W.). We have seen the rise of Conservative and Christian politics as well as media ( Rush…Fox News…various Christian programming on TV, Radio, and internet) Even the Gospel is being spread with a rapidity and breath that would have astonished the Apostles.
And yet….particularly in America…it gets worse and worse…in terms of what our secular Founding Fathers stood for and gave to us….as well as our Heavenly Father.
And you all think that by voting for ONE MAN….( which I thought is why the Founding Fathers fought and died…so we would not have to rely on the whims of ONE MAN)…is going to save or destroy America?
How can one not think that this smacks….at least a little….of idolatry?
Let me leave you with this thought. Abortion came about under a Republican president ( Richard Nixon). We then had Gerald Ford….Ronald Reagan…George H.W.Bush….George W. Bush and now….quite possibly Mitt Romney. We even had Republican majorities in the House and Senate during this overall time period as well. You have had majority Republicans in the governerships as well. And you have only had marginal effects on abortion and NO movement against Roe vs Wade.
You have also had a continual decline in morals…ethics…Chruch attendance…the rise of secularism and athieism….Gay Rights and Marriage…..Crime….health stats declining…..the economy for the last 30 years collapsing (even when it was growing under Reagan, Bush and Clinton it was from the expansion of credit (debt) not from real, organic, sustainable, domestic growth…and debt always has to be repaid sometime in the future….and the future is now….and we are broke)……
And yet….Mitt Romney…..the cultist…..the flip flopper….the liar….is going to fix all that in 4 years…..

Sure….pray that Jesus is revealed to Mitt Romney and his family. You are required to do that. BUT….you do not need to VOTE for him to do that.
But more importantly….since this is a country founded on the principle of “WE THE PEOPLE”…..maybe….just maybe you need to start with the most important person in the WE THE PEOPLE group……
Yourself.
I know I do…..God knows how much I need to every single day. It’s just as a student of history…I have come to understand that America was simply another in a long line of Utopias dreamed up in the minds of well intentioned men to do one thing….and one thing only.
Reverse the Curse laid upon man at the time Adam and Eve fell in the Garden of Eden.
America was simply made by God to finally break all of our hearts…..when we realize that “The Last Best Hope of Earth” could not be “Nobely Saved” but we were doomed from the beginning to “Meanly Lose” due to our sinful nature passed down to us from Adam and Eve.
And in that moment….perhaps a National Revival due to a nationwide move of broken heartedness and repentence would finally move God to restore us for at least a time….or in conjucntion with the Gospel finally being spread to the whole world….allow Jesus to wrap things up for the last time.
But….voting for just ONE MAN…..and a cult member as well…….and expecting to stop a multi-generational decline?

I don’t see where anyone is claiming electing Romney will stop all the problems in our country. We all need to help do that.
It would be childish to think a president will fix everything or that it’s possible for a president to be all things to all people. However, I’ve been voting “lesser of two evils” for many elections on many levels. I’m gonna tell you: this is the first time I actually have a little genuine confidence in my candidate. I don’t like some of Romney’s ideas but I think he’s wants our country to prosper. I think he’d be more motivated to take credit for some prosperity and I think Obama would be even more motivated to take credit for our downfall.
Vote for the R’s or vote for the big zero.

There you will see an ad for “40 Days to Save America”….which states is a prayer and fasting excercise exclusively devoted to the Presidential election…..which will see ONE MAN come out on top.
Look at your voter guides coming in from various organizations like Focus on the Family and the Christian Coalition. It leads you to vote for the corecct ONE MAN.

I’m not sure what Bible you read…..but all the different translations I have all state that at the end of Christ’s Millenial Kingdom and Reign, that God creates a New Heaven and a New Earth through fire and that the old things will never be remembered ever again.
That means America….the Constitution….The Declaration of Indepedence….will all be destroyed…..never again to be remembered as part of the former things.
That also means that America was “DOOMED” since the time of the Fall. The minds and hearts of all men are corrupted with sin. This included the minds and hearts of the Founding Fathers and “We The People” to whom the Founding Fathers bequeth to us this “Last Best Hope of Earth”….doomed ultimately because of the afore mentioned sin. Even if what the Founding Fathers created was perfect…..the collective sin of “We The People” would have only brought it to ruin…..which the evidence is clear…..we have.
So….in ending…..you are going to elect a cult member….steeped in and completely lost in his sin and apostasy….and a proven serial liar…….to replace another sinner, completely lost in his own sin and apostasy…and a proven serial liar…..

Some of what you say and believe I agreee with totally. Some I don’t. That goes with everyone on this planet. But you are privileged to live in the one nation that has formed a government that takes into account the sinfulness and capriciousness of humanity better than any other in history.
The checks and balances of the three branches keep government somewhat in control, and the electoral college helps the people act more like a nation than an emotional mob.
It’s true that we can’t dictate with certainty how history will unfold. I also believe that God is ultimately in charge.
But you have a choice right now. Are you going to be the Good Samaritan or one of those who passed on by when your country was in trouble? Once we only had to render our tax money to Caesar. Now we can also render our vote.
If you stand idly by while Obama is re-elected, you will be hastening America’s doom. We will be totally at the mercy of our Chinese landlords. Iran and its minions will wreak havoc.
We won’t have the Millenium if Romney is elected. We are not thinking like the Germans did last century. But it is immoral to withdraw from a hurting society and then complain how things turn out.

What you said about America is technically true.
But none of that is relevant anymore when every branch of government and the vast majority of the American People are shot through with terminal corruption. Not to mention that every candidate…and eventually….President….is beholden to not only the Chinese landlords (which all began with Nixon…a Republican) but to the Bankers.
If anyone who has occupied the Presidency over the last 50 years who might have had a deisre to see Bankers do the perp walk on TV and nationalize their banks….it should have been the Socialist Barack Obama. But he didn’t….simply because he knows that they truly control America through its economy….(which has been the primary issue in Presidential campains for the last 50 years….maybe since the Great Depression). Mitt Romney is one of their kind….don’t expect any change at all in the rule of the Bankers over us….or the Chinese for that matter. After all….it was Capitalists and Bankers who sent all of those jobs over to the Chinese….not Socialists. And even if some of those jobs went over there due to high Socialist taxation and regulation….the majority would stay if EVERY TAX and EVERY REGULATION went to zero…..because of the cost of labor difference between us and them…..what’s known as Global Wage Arbitrage. $50 bucks a month, a bowl of rice and a room in huge industrial dormitories …..versus what we expect and need over here in America to just get by…..much less thrive…..no my friend……those jobs are gone forever.

Sorry Hans…..if it were just over the matter of the decline in “We The People’s” morals and ethics….the die would have been cast long ago for America’s decline and dissolution. However…combine it with the slaughter of 50 million plus babies….MANDATED AND MADE LEGAL BY LAW….since 1973….much less the millions that were slaughtered before the law for decades before that….and there is no hope for America the country. Maybe for individual “Americans”…if you still want to call yourself such….who have the conviction of their sins on their hearts to the point that nothing else matters….not even voting for a cult member….other than repenting and getting right with God before the soon to come judgement of America and the world.
Finally….to answer your Good Samaritan comment….I am not a good Samaritan to this country by voting for someone who is a cult member…..who does not beleive Jesus is the only way….who is pro-choice by absentia…..(that is to say….Romney states that he is pro-life….but will do nothing to take away a woman’s right to murder her baby….(exactly what he did in Massachusetts) and changes his core beliefs and political positions according to who he is running against, what position he is running for and in what state he is running in. Sounds too much to me like Barack Obama.

Being against Mitt Romney solely because of his religious beliefs is bigotry, plain and simple. Think about it Danny. I’m not judging you, just pointing that out.
I am also a fundamentalist Christian, and I agree with you that Mormonism is a cult led and founded by a false prophet. But you must admit that Mormons are usually very moral, good people–have you ever spoken with one?
Romney, unlike Obama, has no desire to restrict Americans’ rights to worship as they please. He may not be no-exceptions pro-life, but he’s lightyears apart from O’s views in that area. No, he’s not the savior of America (or anything else). But he’s a step in the right direction, a chance to put the brakes on the decline of our great country. Second….to truthseeker…..Technically …..yes I do know the difference between civil unions and marriage. One is given to the two parties by the state….the other by the Church…..which just so happens to be regulated to varying degrees by the same states that allow and endorse civil unions. It’s a distinction looking for a very….very fine line. Plus….it’s the political version of the “camel’s nose in the tent”. Once that line is crossed…..true gay marriage is not long behind.

Sure….let’s start with the spiritual rebellion that erupted post Civil War…and after WWI into the 20′s and especially post WWII particularly in the 60′s….which infected both nation and church. We have had nothing but wars and conflicts….debasement of our currency….millions enslaved to drugs….10′s of millions of babies slaughtered….the rise of atheism….secularism….rapacious consumerism and materialism, Gay rights and marriage. Debt enslavement….by individuals….students and the country itself. We’ve gone from Elvis Presley to Marilyn Manson….from Doris Day to Lady Gaga.
And it is all excelerating…..like a woman’s birth pangs. Now we have the Great Depression 2.0. We are entering the second phase of it as we speak. By 2020….we will be either in full collapse….or so close to it that we will all know it is eminant. The dollar will lose its status as the reserve currency of the world. America is TBTF…Too Big To Fail….but unlike the TBTF Banks that we bail out….there in no one to bail us out. Which means….leading up to the collapse….everyone who holds out debt will continue to buy more (China, Japan, England) in order to prop us up. And before the inevitable default comes we will debase our currency (inflate and print) in order to pay our bills and meet the obligations to Social Security…Medicaid….Medicare….VA benefits…..not to mention just funding the military….you know…to keep us strong and the black magic known as oil which fuels our magical lifestyle flowing into the country to keep the magic going for as long as possble.
But in the end we will not be able to meet those needs….millions of those people on SS,…Medicaid,…Medicare and VA benefits will not get them or they will be cut drastically which will cause those folks to slow their consumerism in an economy that is 70% consumerism. And in that last great push to pay our bills…stave off default….pay out benefits that have been promised for generations and fund the biggest military the world has ever seen….we will destory our currency for all the rest of us….and thus add to the collapse of our debt laden economy.
And here is the supreme irony…..if Romney and Ryan actually do half of what they promise in their budget plan….then they will worsen the Great Depression 2.0 sooner rather than later. Don’t get me wrong….I think it is better to amputate both legs now and save the patient rather than let the patient die of gangrene later down the road. But the American people have shown no willingness to take the pain needed….nor a willingness to face the truth and the hard choices….not with the economy….not with matters of the State…and certainly not with spiritual matters.
We have been in judgement for quite some time….but it has been warning shots until now. From here until 2020…give or take a year or two….it’s going to get real….no matter who is president.

I tend to agree that if hearts don’t change it may “get real” sooner rather than later (actually it’s been real since the Garden of Eden — some eras more “real” than others) but I wouldn’t think of pinpointing Judgement Day within a year or two.
In Matthew 24:36, Our Lord tells us that “no one but the Father knows the day and the hour.” I think this includes you too, Danny.
Our God is loving, merciful, and forgiving. I believe it would do us well to remember that, get on our knees and beg mercy for ourselves and others, and rest ourselves in His Goodness.
Neither Obama nor Romney is perfect but I believe Romney will be much better at steering our country in a better direction.
I did not pinpoint The Apocalypse at or around 2020….just judgement…real,…hard…crushing judgement…the kind Israel has experienced in her past….at or around the 2020 mark. Could happen at anytime….but just doing some back of the evvelope calculations concerning our debt…economy…cultual decline…etc…etc…
And once America collapses the New World Order that so many elties including George H.W. Bush (remember that speech from the 1st Gulf War) will evolve again as China and Europe…and even the Middle East will re-align into power and economic pacts….that have less to do with us and more to do with them. Of course….that’s after we dragged the world down with us.
Not to mention Israel. As America’s inevitable and irreversible decline continues and even excelerates….Isreal will be left even more in the lurch in terms of support,,,even from us….than ever before.
Then things could get real interesting going forward.
Also….I truly know about God’s mercy….both personally and concerning this country. 50+ million babies slaughtered….approved by Congress….and the Supreme Court…the majority of the American people…and allowed by the cowardice of all of our Republican Presidents….and God hasn’t destroyed this country yet…..

Praxedes….couldn’t this be said of every nation…both Israel and the Gentile nations (Assyrians….Ninevites….Babylonians….Egytians….Persians….Greeks……Romans….etc.) who faced God’s Judgement after stupid choices?
Did not Adam and Eve make a stupid choice……and haven’t we’ve been…through that one sin and the curse passed down….been making stupid choices ever since? Obviously…some of the consequences seem….”natural”. But God’s judgement is both passive and active. Sometimes….God passively sits back…as he did with Job and remove the “hedge of protection” from around us. It’s still a judgement.
As well as a test. Seems to me this election is just such a test and a judgement. We have before us a Hobson’s Choice. That is to say…no real choice at all.
Both candidates are apostates. Both candidates are provable serial liars. Both candidates are woefully inadequate to provide real solutions to both the surface ills of America (economy, right to life, freedom issues…etc.) and in particular the real issues plaguing America….the spiritual issues….the need for the President of the United States the moment he walks into the Oval Office….go on national TV and call on the Nation to participate in 40 days of fasting and repenting….no matter what the media or the unbelievers in the Nation say or do….and have the President set the example and participate as well for his own personal sins.
Until that happens….you and everyone else are wasting their vote and will only get more desperate and broken-hearted as America declines to 2nd rate status or worse.
Both candidates are mere mortals. One will do better by the country than the other. No one can know with certainty who that is. It is up to us to make an educated guess. But if you really want to wash your hands of this decision, perhaps it’s time for you to go find a deserted island and make yourself a one-man society.

What I said is that amongst the multitude of things that can bring judgement on a nation…including is ours….is our choice of leaders.

Yes….the Israelites whined and moaned in the desert after fleeing Egypt…so Moses was given the governing structure of the Law by God and he set up the priesthood as not only a religious body, but a governing one as well. Then later on as the Isrealites came into their land….they whined and moaned about their chances at prosperity and security…so the begged for Judges and then Kings….just like all the Pagan nations around them that were prosperous and….at time….an existential threat to the young nation of Israel.
But here is a VERY important point…..the creation of Kings as a governing philosophy was not and still is not….inheritely evil. Just as guns don’t kill people…people using guns kill people…..Monarchies do not kill and enslave people….the men and women who become monarchs kill and enslave people.
Look at Ancient Israeli history….they go from Priests to Judges to Kings (in fact at the time of the Kings they had all three). Do you know what kind of archtype that God was trying to show the people…..????
The coming Kingdom of the Great High Priest….The Good And Faithful Judge and the King of Kings.
However….the Israelites wanted this type of government modeled after pagan nations not after God’s plan. And soon they ignored the teaching of the Priests…let evil, corrupt Judges destroy Justice and allow Tyrants to rule over them.
So by the time Jesus came to fulfill and perfect all those role in Him and THEN PERPETUATE THAT MODEL TO THE WORLD….the people, the religious authority and the Ruling Class and King were shot through with corruption and allowed their pagan Roman overlords to crucify our King.
READ THAT AGAIN….OUR KING ! Not just a Jewish King….but the Monarch of the World for all peoples, nations, tribes and tongues.
Obviously the Monarchical model of governance continued after the Fall of Jerusalem and the Great Jewish Diaspora. And yes…throughout history it was a scandalous, tyrannical affair for the most part….with notable exceptions.
But think about this…..the formation of America….(a reaction against one of those tyrannical examples of monarchy)…..and the founding principles of America have no Biblical archtype. Anywhere. There is not one example in Biblical history nor secular history of people ruling themselves.
AND THAT’S THE RUB ! America has been a blessing to us…and to the world…IN SPITE OF AMERICA…NOT BECAUSE OF IT !! God’s archtype of Monarchical Rule as he wanted all nations to follow…(both Gentile and Jew…in HIS WAY…not the vain attempts at Utopia as the Pagans wanted and as the Jews eventually wanted to emulate)…was supposed to be able to help the people….particularly the Jews…to recognize Messiah when He came to ultimately fulfill the only type of government that was going to work for all of eternity….that being a Monarchy….administered and propagated by Judges and Priests to all the nations and in True Holiness and Justice by Messiah.
America and the idea of self rule…. (UH OH…the word SELF….root word of SELFISH….an idea perfected by Satan himself)….is an aberation and doomed to failure.
WHY ? Think about it. There was one brief shining period of time when that occured. When there was total freedom….freedom of self….freedom of choice…freedom from life’s burdens….freedom from shame….freedom from sickness and death….freedom from fear….of being homeless…of being alone…of being lonely….hungry….in danger…from man or beast. We were one with nature and nature took perfect care of us.
And in that perfect freedom….we threw it all away for the vain attainment of Godhood.
So let me ask you this…..with that in mind….if Adam and Eve fell in all that perfect Freedom…..what makes any of you think that a Constitution made by men in the principles of pagan Greek political thought and Enlightenment inspired political thought with some Christian principles thrown in for the moral and ethical underpinnings….ever guarentee us…..a people born into and cursed with sin for the rest of our lives (regardless of your status of being saved or not….you still sin as a Christian you know)….how can anything given to us by the Founding Fathers ever be better and last longer than what the TRUE FOUNDING FATHER gave Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden?

But he is closer to my type of politics…mutualist…even anarchist to some extent. Think the logical extension of Libertrianism.
However….I’m wise enough to know that even advocating for more Freedom than any Libertarian…even Ron Paul…much less any Conservative…is doomed to failure. Give sinful man an inch of freedom and he will end up causing others to enslave us trying to reign in the unbridled man’s abuses.

Danny, technically the difference between civil unions and marriage is that one of them is marriage and the other isn’t. States do marry people you know, not just churches. And if Obama has his way then all states would be forced to perform marriage ceremonies on same sex couples. But if Romney has his way then marriage will be defined as the union of one man and one woman. You are entitled to your opinion but you just have your facts wrong with regard to why being for same sex civil unions does not mean you are support the concept of same sex marriage.

When Jesus establishes His Kingdom on earth…there will not be ANY union of a man to a man nor a woman to a woman. Neither in Heaven.
So if Mitt Romney has his way after becoming President and only allows individual states to perform civil unions and does not force the Churches to perform gay marriages (as if Obama could even do that)…so what ?! He still is allowing the imprimatur of the State to be stamped on a union that should never happen and will not happen in Christ’s kingdom nor heaven.
Just the same with abortion. In Massachusetts Mitt Romney allowed women the choice of murdering their children….thus depriving them of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness also allowing the individual woman with the sanction of the State as well as the involvement of both the private and public health system in committing a gross violation of the Constitution and which also proves once more that Mitt Romney is a liar when he states that he wants to restore America to its Constitutional roots.
In Christ’s Kingdom there will be no abortions, nor in Heaven. So when Mitt states that he is Pro-Life but does nothing to overturn Roe vs Wade either with direct proposals of legislation or with executive order so as to look “moderate” or “bi-partisan”…then He is once again…allowing the imprimatur of the State to do something that will never happen in the Government to come.
