Pro-life video of the day: Will the GOP block Obamacare funding?
On Monday’s Fox & Friends, Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) discussed possible efforts to attempt to block funding for Obamacare. According to Politico, “There is a growing support among Republicans for a plan to shut down the government to block funding” for the program:

Again?
Uggh…. The last time that Republicans staged a government shut-down, it was a political nightmare. And that was during a strong and booming economy.
For those of us who already see that ObamaCare is an economic time bomb, it is also apparent that a government shut-down might just trigger the same economic catastrophe that we want our leaders to avoid.
My advice to the idiots running both Parties: Americans like reasonable steps. We do not like drastic measures. If you want to shove thru some sweeping legislation that will change our family lives — or if you propose a nuclear option to delay some dreadful change that we have already braced ourselves for — then make sure that you have the support of most Americans first.
Remember this: Obama does not care if ObamaCare is ever put into place. He has already kicked mandatory compliance down the road another year, so Democrats won’t get blamed for the havoc. He will gladly let the government shut down — and he’ll cut off all benefits and entitlements as quickly as possible — as long as he can lay the blame on his opponents. He cut off $5 billion in MedicAid to Indiana, just to make sure that Planned Parenthood of Indiana got paid.
Offer to fund ObamaCare, but only if Planned Parenthood gets defunded. Let Obama be the one who shuts down America. This is the post-Gosnell era…. let him blink this time!
I doubt they will but I almost wish they would.
Obama can afford to hold his breath, it’s not like he needs it for running at the next election.
The plan is not to shut down the government The plan is to pass a continuing resolution budget that funds everything BUT Obamacare
