Pro-life vid of day: Dying 2-yr-old is best man for parents’ wedding
by LauraLoo
UPDATE, 8/6: Little Logan has passed away, just two days after his parents’ wedding.
8/5, 12p: As reported by Breitbart:
A 2-year-old boy with only weeks to live served as best man when his parents wed this past Saturday.
Sean Stevenson and Christine Swidorsky had planned to wed next year but moved up the ceremony to Saturday so their son, Logan (who has leukemia and other complications) could participate.
“We wanted Logan in our family pictures, and we wanted him to see his mother and dad get married,” Swidorsky said.
Logan has Fanconi anemia, a rare disease that often causes cancer. He was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia at 14 months old and had a stem cell transplant a year ago. He lost one kidney to a tumor in March and now has a mass on his other kidney.
Last week, doctors told the couple the boy would live only two to three weeks more.
“It’ll be the hardest thing I’ll ever do, is bury my son,” Stevenson said. “You know it’s coming and you can’t do anything about it.”

Poor little guy. I am happy his parents were able to have him in their wedding. My daughter volunteered at Children’s Hospital with some kids who were terminally ill. I couldn’t do it, abecause I would be crying all the time, and that’s the last thing these children need to see. I’m tearing up a little even as I read this.
Have a peaceful passing, Logan, and may the the angels welcome you home.
Burying your child is one of the hardest things you will ever have to do in life. My heart goes out to them.
So sad. :(
Love you Logan.
Precious little man.
This wonderful boy died and was welcomed by the angels in our Heavenly Kingdom. May his parents be comforted by God’s love and blessed with many more children. AMEN.

Here’s the link.
Leukemia is a disease of the young, generally speaking. I still wonder why God allows the innocent, especially babies and children, to suffer. It seems like evil people just die peacefully in their beds at a ripe old age.
My prayers are with this grieving family. How hard especially to lose such a young child. I’m glad they were able to share their wedding day with Logan. LL <3
May his memory be eternal!
