Pro-life vid of day: Created Equal jumbotron comes to Philly

At the 2013 March for Life, Created Equal displayed a jumbotron video, which opened with the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. quoting the famous preamble of the Declaration of Independence concerning life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Following his remarks, the video featured the graphically horrifying results of abortion. This Friday, the group will bring the 10X12 ft. jumbotron to the place where those famous words were first proclaimed to the American people.
Executive Director Mark Harrington said of the campaign:
It seems fitting to me that we are launching this campaign in the very place where our nation’s founders penned those words, created equal. We are still battling for equal rights. In this case, it is the pre-born who are being discriminated against.
Independence Mall is one of the top tourist attractions in the nation, with thousands visiting Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell every day. Once again there is debate about children seeing the disturbing images. Harrington says efforts will be made to warn parents about the display area. “This, unfortunately, is what happens when a nation kills its children. We believe those victims need to be shown publicly. I’m happy to stop doing this when the killing stops.”

I think it’s a great idea! My class went on a day trip to Philly yesterday, and I would’ve loved to see something like that there!
Actually, while we were touring the National Constitution Center, I saw one panel regarding the Supreme Court and the “right to abortion”. I just about lost it right then and there.
My friends tried asking me why I was so mad about it, and I was like, “Imagine if someone you love died in a fire and you saw a panel about the ‘right to arson’.” It’s so sad. Anti – life is the law of the land now.
It would’ve made me feel much better to see someone standing up for life :)
Out of sight, out of mind…. so it’s okay to kill babies as long as you don’t see it, right pro-baby killing aborts? Showing you exactly what YOU are advocating/doing… THAT’S offensive???

I’m seeing it now. It appears as though there are 5 people standing next to signs. Not much of a protest. It appears the people of Philadelphia are quite smart. Not a great idea to come hear. Go back to your inbred toothless Bible belt. Or try helping someone, versus hating so much.
Funique, we’re trying to help at least two people at a time, without any hate that I can see.
Your comment, though, does show some signs of hate. But even worse, it shows indifference to those two-plus people hurt in every abortion.
