I have a new poll question up:

Do you think Emily Letts’ “abortion video” helps or hurts the pro-choice movement?

Vote on the lower right side of the home page.

Regarding the last poll, the middle top vote getter would seemingly fall into the category, “Which of these things is not like the others?” don’t you think?

Online for Life asked this question, and I thought it was a good one: What pro-choice argument(s) do you have the most difficulty refuting? We’ve all seen them - slogans written on placards and protest signs used by pro-abortion activists in their attempts to narrow down the pro-abortion position to a simple, succinct catch phrase. Unfortunately, […]

Here’s news so good I couldn’t let the weekend pass by without mentioning it. From the Associated Press, May 9:

Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri dropped its legal challenge Friday to a Kansas law that stripped two of its Kansas clinics of federal money for family planning….

A Charlotte abortion doctor, who made headlines for a racist rant caught on video in 2012, has been arrested and charged with raping a woman….

Ashutosh Ron Virmani was arrested early Thursday morning after he’s [sic] accused of raping a 49-year-old woman.

Virmani was booked… for second degree rape and two counts of second degree sexual offense.

[A] woman told police that she was raped inside a home along the 4600 block of Charlestowne Manor Drive on Wednesday afternoon….

Emily Letts’ abortion video* has been around a couple months, but it’s getting scrutiny now due to an essay she just had published in Cosmopolitan, which included this gem:

I remember breathing and humming through it like I was giving birth. I know that sounds weird, but to me, this was as birth-like as it could be. It will always be a special memory for me. I still have my sonogram, and if my apartment were to catch fire, it would be the first thing I’d grab.

UPDATE 5/10 8:10a: The $2.1 million funding goal for the Gosnell tv documentary was indeed reached and surpassed yesterday! Now producers have a “stretch goal” for the 2-1/2 days they have left before the crowdfunding campaign ends:

At present the number of funders is 24,243. If you haven’t yet, donate just $1 to help show not just the breadth but the depth of support for a movie about Gosnell’s heinous crimes against not only preborn children but barely postborn children.
