Pro-life video of the day: 3801 Lancaster
Written and directed by David Altrogge, the documentary film 3801 Lancaster is “about Kermit Gosnell, the Philadelphia Women’s Medical Society disaster and the cover-up by state and local oversight agencies,” according to the film’s Facebook page. The film went live on January 14. It is the first in a series.
This hard-hitting, 20-minute video is extremely well done and worth watching, though the material is disturbing:

In my Contemporary Social Issues class last night the prof was going on about women dying from back alley abortions. I should have mentioned Gosnell’s “front alley” abortions, whose chamber of horrors was just a few blocks from the school, but I just didn’t feel like it. I know there are some closet prolifers in that class. I wish they would come out., I get sick of being the “only one!”
Ack, I don’t know if I could stand sitting there. As the pro-lifers say in New Zealand, we must “speak for the speechless.”
The film was excellent, btw.
@Believe me, its hard. This professor is an openly gay man. I feel like asking him how he would feel if a “gay gene” is found and people start aborting gay fetuses. Hmm.

Riveting horror documentary.
I sometimes wonder why clinic staff aren’t prosecuted, too. In Kermit the Snipper’s case, his staff acted illegally as anesthesiologists and they were docemented as holding down women who changed their minds about going through with an abortion. They were acting illegally and should be prosecuted!
If more clinic staff workers were held accountable, I think more clinics would be shut down sooner. More staff would realize they share responsibility in reporting unsanitary conditions and illegal behavior.
Conservative columnist Mike Adams derided him with a take-off on Kermit the Frog calling Gosnell “Kermit the Dog.”
Someone wrote, “Mr. Adams, please don’t insult dogs.” Another wrote, “You own an apology to canines everywhere.”
An incident like the Kermit Gosnell clinic shouldn’t be THAT shocking. Regardless of his or her motivations, an abortionist has to be willing to kill human embryos and fetuses. Thus, abortion, even when legal, will inevitably attract people who can commit violence.
Many years ago, pre-Roe v. Wade, a doctor became a kind of “John of Arc” for “abortion choice.” He performed about 2,000.
Then he got arrested for murdering his girlfriend by shooting her.
Absolutely horrific..but ‘par for the course’ of the abortion industry. All they care about is (blood) money. Corruption abounds! Just look the other way and stick out your hand, you’ll get your ‘hush money’.
Kermit Gosnell is PURE EVIL..Satan’s right-hand man.
Seems that everyone that worked in that clinic is evil. God forgive them!

…Yes, Gosnell rendered a “service” (1:05)…what did the neighbors think abortion was…a spa treatment?
I really identify with the women on the video who were duped…I wish I could help to comfort them and all other women who believed the serpent’s lie…

One more thing on Gosnell…Does anyone know if they still “pith” frogs in biology classes? I can only surmise this is where he thought he was at 3801…(no pun intended!)
Imagine this is 1977 and these were young women who had obtained illegal abortions because of the Hyde Amendment that stopped gov’t funding of abortion. Imagine the reaction as they relate the horrors they endured, their inability to have children, and the chamber of horrors they were forced to go to. I have no doubt they would be on every news program, talk show, in People Magazine, and would be NARAL’s and NOW’s poster children of the year. PA congresspeople and senators would be sermonizing their indignation in the halls of the House of Representatives and the Senate. All the better that they were minority women, and even better that they were poor. Instead we hear a deafening silence. These women don’t serve an agenda.
I once read the words of an aging mobster who told a young author, and I paraphrase: Straight people do not understand the criminal mind and how it works, they can’t. The criminal mind will always look for and find an “angle”. They play by their own rules.
So when we hear the naive and well intentioned talk of putting the criminal element out of business by legalizing abortion, this old mobster’s words come to mind. Legalizing abortion only gave criminals such as Gosnell unlimited and at one time undreamed of opportunity, while self satisfied straight people turned a blind eye.
Oh. my. word.
My heart breaks for the two former patients in this film, especially the one that had 8 abortions. :(
