This video is very sweet. What an adorable baby.
I can almost hear the gears turning in the minds of pro-choicer/aborts watching this video (if they even bother to) who will state 1001 reasons why elective abortion should be legal.
I’m convinced that adults who don’t value their own lives will not value their offspring’s either, and as Gerard (I think) mentioned on another thread, it’s about needing to be loved. Someone who hasn’t experienced love, doesn’t know how to show/give it. I don’t know if a video of a cute baby is enough…
What a precious baby! :)
I am pro-life. I used to be pro-choice, but babies are God’s greatest gift!
I am pro-choice…from the baby’s side…
I am not pro-choice to kill a baby.
I go to church with FallibleBlogma. I wonder if that is his little girl I saw on Sunday. She’s bigger now.
I am pro-life and pro-choice.
Until babies can be born outside of a woman’s body (which I don’t actually approve of either) a woman must have the legal right to say she doesn’t want to be pregnant. This is a legal question, for all people in our country, regardless of their religion.
My religious beliefs are different from yours concerning when the soul is attached to the physical body. It is considered a sin to have an abortion—and a sin to bear an unwanted child. I do restrict your religious beliefs. Why do you want to restrict my freedom of religion.
T.R.,
You need to watch the video again, maybe twice.

So if a baby was created and gestated in an artificial womb until born you would not argue for the right of a mother to discontinue the pregnancy at any point if she decided she didn’t want it anymore? Why not?
Not to be picky, but shouldn’t it be: “If this baby was…?”
As for the tired old “shackled with a pregnancy” argument. It reminds me of the story of this man who lived by Lake George in New York. His routine was to swim across the lake every morning. I’ve often wondered – what if during the night someone shackled a baby to him? Would his right to privacy – and to control of his own body – allow him to continue his life unchanged?
